The clamp includes a high strength alloy bosshead for securing the clamp to a frame or other apparatus. The bosshead will accept a rod diameter of 18 mm (approximately 11/16"). The screw adjustment allows for precise pressure when gripping glass objects, to avoid potential breakage. Swivel between Clamp and bosshead. Clamp is constructed of powder coated high grade zinc alloy. The fingers are coated in vinyl for higher temperature applications. Ideal uses for beakers, Erlenmeyer flasks, test-tubes, boiling (Florence) flasks, burettes.

Removable Clamp Screw

Clamp attached to high strength, alloy swivel bosshead that fits rods measuring up to 18mm in diameter.

Bosshead & clamp can be easily separated by removing the clamp screw using a 5/32" allen wrench.

It’s made from a kind of ductile iron that is so breakable that one of the clamping fingers broke when I took it out of the package. Pass on this one
