The circles were a bit bigger for people with larger hands. I have to wear weightlifting gloves to prevent scraping in knuckles. Otherwise solid and also very, very tough…it’s a real workout

The only real exercise you will get from this thing is from the weight of it. The resistance, set to max is hardly challenging at all. It's just heavy. Bummed

I wish that I could add a little more resistance but I can live with it the way that it is. It's definitely very sturdy.

If your first question is "Does this work?", then a quick answer would be yes. I've used this in the mornings to warm up my arms and shoulders, and at night to wake myself up a little bit, and to help stay a little loose.Having said that, this is a tool for toning your arms. If you're looking to build mass, then you may want to keep looking. You do feel it not only in your forearms, but also your biceps, triceps, shoulders, and lats. Your first try, you'll think you could go all day, then give up after a couple of minutes. The outside of it doesn't rotate, so you can rest it on your thighs while using it, which is great because this has some considerable weight to it. Seriously, this is heavy to the point that if you're holding it out while doing some exercises, you'll actually feel a little strain. Not sure if that was on purpose, so we'll call that an accidental benefit, because other times, the weight can be annoying.This misses out on 5 stars because of one particular reason, the resistance isn't the same on both sides. One side is noticeably more resistant than the other, and for it's cost, that shouldn't be. It also still leaves my hands smelling like galvanized steel, even after a few weeks of use. Not the biggest problem, but more of an annoyance.

I couldn't figure at all what this thing was. I just wanted to give it a go, since I'm always down for some different workout gizmos. When I first got it, I used it like a forearm twist trainer. Like opening a heavily resisted door. Worked for that but that seemed a bit excessive for that exercise. I had to look at a different product, that actually had some videos on how this was supposed to be used and then I understood what I was supposed to do with this device. Photos don't make any sense at all. You really need to see this thing in action.For the most part. It's really just a mechanical speed bag trainer. With adjustable resistance and back and forth action. That's the bread and butter of the unit. Works great in that department. Good cardio and endurance. Perfect for fighters and boxers. There is other exercises that can be attempted with this, but really they seem very novel. And there's better variations out there. Now, wrist and forearm training on this does work well. So, you could use this in conjunction with all that type of training.Overall, this unit is well made, solid design, and has a good range of resistance. It's just made for a very specific type of athlete and definitely not for everyone. If you love your speed bag and want to add some alternative edge to it. Here's an interesting upper body cardio device.
