I bought this for when I leave town but can't take my big boy with me. He goes to stay at Grandma and Grandpa's house, but they have other dogs and those puppies aren't allowed to stay out while Grandma and Grandpa are at work so to be fair to them my boy goes in a kennel too. It pops up easy, and takes down just as easy! My boy is a Great Pyrenees/Border Collie mix, so I bought the extra large kennel but even for its size a collapses very thin and isn't very heavy. I drive a Chevy Malibu, and this fits in my trunk just fine when collapsed flat. The construction is actually super sturdy, that was a small concern of mine. I was also a little worried that he wouldn't understand to go inside or that it would make him anxious because at home he has a wire kennel, but he doesn't seem to mind at all! I just put his blanket in and he moseys his way right in. I would 100% purchase this again. I actually have plans to stop using his wire kennel at home, and let him be free in the apartment then just pop this up on the days that maintenance or management need to enter the apartment. This kennel has been so nice a small piece of me wishes I just would have bought this and used it the whole time.

Received quickly. Got it for my 14 y/o dog who has never been kenneled. Got it b/c she's becoming unfriendly with visitors and wanted a comfy place to keep everyone safe. Put a dog bed in, and she loves it. Even the cat started going in too. Put together very easily. I can keep front open, or open the side, top. Very versatile. Well made, sturdy. Perfect for my needs.

We got this for our 5mo old golden retriever puppy for the car and it works great! It is easy to assemble and keeps him from sliding all around the car while we’re driving. It’s an added bonus that if we go on any trips with our pup, we can use this in any location as well. 10/10 recommend

This is my second travel crate. The first one I used for almost 10 years before the zipper finally broke. I would have purchased the same brand, but they did not have the right size. SO, I purchased this one.after only a few months usage, there are separated seams and torn fabric. same dog, same care, different maker.short answer - don't buy this product.

Perfect for travel and daily use as a bed, however, our puppy chewed on the zipper for only a moment and now it is broken because the zipper teeth are damaged in one small spot. A metal zipper would have been better for this product.

This is absolutely incredible! I researched a lot before buying. I have a big golden retriever play pen for my Aussie puppy. Got it when he was 9 weeks old. He’s now 8 months and I would like to change his play pen to more of a portable home. He never wanted to be out in a crate. But he Loves this!! It was very easy to put together. Took me about 5 minutes. Tip: Push down on the bottom metal pieces to put together first then do the sides and top. Just like all the reviews said the plush bed is very thin so I had another fluffy rectangle bed on top. My dog is 33 pound, has a long tail and a long body for an Australian Shepard. I bought the 42” first and it’s perfect!! I’m 53 and I actually crawled inside with him and got his 3 staple toy animal friends and his 2 baby blankets. Totally enough room. Love how the material is strong but not too rigid. Easy to clean. Love all the zippered areas. This is way better than a crate! My dog immediately went straight in to explore. More than enough room for him to stand up and move around and reposition himself. It is very dark inside after it zips up. Wasn’t sure how he’d feel about that so I left a light on for him. He’s one that won’t lay down until he is put to bed where there are no distractions and it’s quiet. It really feels like his home. It’s a bit heavy for me but nothing compared to a crate. Very easy to pull across the room and is easy to fold up and move. The 42 does not fit through the doors so I had to fold up to move from living room to bedroom but again easy. Honestly I’ve bought my Charlie so much but this is the best thing Ive ever purchased for him. Now I can easily plan travel to a friends house for a stay over and know Charlie will always have his home.

Full disclosure, my dog is crate trained and loves his kennel. He prefers a hard sided kennel as opposed to a crate. He will willingly go in and out of his kennel during the day. It is his big zen den. We do road trips. I got tired of hauling his big hard sided kennel. His big solid one is heavy, takes up half the car and at times can obstruct my line of sight in the car. This is amazing! SO easy to pop up and break down. It has a handy handle (pun intended). My pupper loves it. He is not a destructive doggo, so it is a great fit for us. It is easy to store because it is flat when not in use. The only reason I took off a star, of course, I feel could be less cost as just mesh and frame. But also, I have tile floors and visit with brother who has vinyl flooring, when my dog hops into the crate, it slides a bit on the floor. But that is not a deal breaker.
