I wish I had tried to fit the plug into the 5 prong housing before I installed it because the 5 prong housing on the old EGR is mounted vertical and the new one was mounted horizontally. Inside the new 5 prong housing there are two stops - one on each side which would not allow the plug to insert into the housing.

you will need a thick washer to use the original bolt, so far I didnt notice anything bad about it, but that coud change rather soon.

If you have a 2005 Chevy equinox this part do not fit I repeat this part do not fit.
