I purchased the original EGO leaf blower. I wanted a new one as power is what I needed! I was not disappointed! As with all EGO products they are well engineered. The fact that I can use it to blow snow off my patio and driveway was an absolute game changer! We had 1 inch of powdered snow and blew it off my driveway in 10 minutes! Great product!

I bought an EGO LB4800 7 or 8 years ago from Home Depot for about twice the price of what this new one cost. I loved the quiet reliability of using that blower, with the very impressive burst of extra power whenever it was needed. After the years of getting good at cleanup and herding piles of leaves around, the 4800 started having issues and I decided I'd rather just replace it, since purchase cost of the more powerful 6500 was about equivalent to the repair costs of the 4800 (no battery included). With free Prime speedy shipping I had the new one practically overnight, and am very impressed with the features. It came with 2 different blower tubes, one shorter for convenient cleanup uses, and with a wide end tip to add for more concentrated direction, which really does work nicely for the leaf herding. Power control is a definite improvement, with both a dial control and a multi position trigger to get the full range of low to high. I love that the lowest setting is even quieter than with the old blower, and the original battery from the 4800 still works great with the new one, running for about an hour on a charge. It's so impressive what Ego has done with all the clean lithium powered equipment that all runs from the same battery packs. It make no sense to keep using old gas powered devices when for the same cost or less, you can have zero emission yardwork tools that deliver the same performance in lightweight and many decibels quieter equipment.

Much stronger than my 20v Dewalt. I'd say it's not double the power of the Dewalt but a good 40% more power.I bought this to help dry my car after a wash but don't expect it to do so. It does deliver a good power but not enough to dry a car.I've seen some people do so on YouTube and that's the reason of my purchase but...no good for that! Everything else from leaves, dirt, sand or simply blowing away dirt from the yard, this thing does it super well.Works very well!

We just had our house renovated. The contractor borrowed this blower and was astounded by its power. And, you know, contractors are the final word on tool quality. Like, they're not going to Harbor Freight when their livelyhood depends on it. So when he said "great tool" I figured I had a winner. Eats the battery but you'll get your work done well before it dies a good death.

For my small areas I can run this on the slow speed and it cleans out dust and leaves in seconds. Infinite CFM choice using knob and full power blast button if needed. Quiet too. No need for ear plugs on the low settings. Relatively light weight with battery installed, well balanced, easy to operate.Best of all, no cord, no hassles, no problems. Just pick it up and go for a walk anywhere.

The older model is a 530 CFM model that works like a Swiss watch.If you enjoy doing your won Landscaping and Lawn work, either by choice or Default or emergency, and you switched your Landscaping and Lawn Tools over to ECO Power lines; don't need to list all the reasons as to why.The only exception - for Tree-cutting purposes (larger than 9-inch diameters) are a small to larger Chain-saws, made by DeWalt & Stihl..* The EGO Power+ LB650 - arrived well-packaged, and simple to assemble.* Ready-to-go, right out of the box. just some bell's & whistles to get familiar with, NP.* Light-weight and easy to maneuver, even with a 56-Volt 5.0 Ah Battery (around 5 lbs).* 3-year warranty included.* Open Lanai's or porches use - we have lot's of rain at times, and sometimes our Lanai's floors get wet, so it only takes 5 minutes with the EGO blower to dry things up, FYI.* Great Deal ! At times the EGO Store will Sell a Floor Model. I Jumped on this right away, and got an awesome deal, like 60% off! Please choose a different delivery location.", via AMZ..Battery CPR - the older model is a 530 CFM model had a 56-Volt 2.5 Ah Battery that quit working one day, and laid on the bench for 2+ years gathering dust.This year, discovered a method of Reviving old battery's, and, was able to bring the 2.5 Ah Battery back to life, so when my nephew got the older blower, he also got this revived battery ... RTG!.

I've owned an electric, leaf blower that plugs into an outside wall socket for decades. I bought this leaf blower because our new house has few outside wall sockets, we have a big yard, and there are a lot of big trees in the yard.If you have external wall sockets, a plug in leaf blower is lighter, less expensive, and more powerful.If you don't have the wall sockets, this is an excellent choice. It has two blow settings - one good for blowing debris off pavement and the other good for blowing your lawn. Gas powered blowers are far more powerful, but are much louder and far more irritating to maintain.But compared to a plug in, this blower is much heavier, less powerful, and (for me) only runs for about 30-40 minutes at the highest power setting before needing a recharge.I highly recommend this blower - if your usage situation takes you away from electrical outlets and if you don't want the noise and maintenance of a gas blower.

Use it for leaves, light snow or just blowing out your garage once in awhile. Also blow off my deck and porch regularly in the summer months. Battery lasts about 15-20 minutes on full blast but I rarely need it that long. Good machine that will make your life a little better as a homeowner.
