1) It won't stand up correctly when there's no egg in it. Because of the design, the backpack part is too "back" heavy, and it just falls right over.2) The egg area is too large, and your egg wiggles back and forth inside the cup area.It completely failed its most basic function.

For anyone fond of the space race comes this darling little astronaut that holds your boiled egg. It works well in a lunch box or bag, or just sitting on the table at breakfast time. I would not recommend eating your egg in this cup though, as it much better serves for decorative purposes only. Comes in two colors, gray or cream, and is easy to wash by hand. Due to it's lightweight size, I would not recommend putting it in the dishwasher.

This little egg holder is super cute and even has a slot for the egg spoon in the backpack. It brings a smile on my face every time my better half brings me my breakfast.Opening it is easy and it keeps the egg warm a little longer.

You want this egg cup for its novelty, not its functionality. It’s unique! A size “large” egg, which we buy, fits but remains loose; maybe better for "jumbo" but we don't buy those so cannot say if it would fit. Astro topples over easily. You can insert a small egg spoon in the pack--cute. Comes with stickers to decorate. It may be me, but it is difficult to open easily. You press it where it shows to and still have to wiggle it apart and not lose your egg. The back of the astronaut will generate some laughter (see photo). [Was it intentional? I don’t know.] Overall, does not function well as an egg cup. Could be a fun little gift, but not practical. Three stars is for the amusement factor. Canadian company, made in China.

The quality of the plastic is good. His top clips on at his arms, and it actually is hard to get him open, as there is no easy way to unclip both sides at once. I could see an egg go flying if you are stuggling to open this thing.The one I received will stand up on it's own, but it is not balanced that well and will fall over onto its pack with the slightest tap or wind.As a cute display I would give it 5 stars, but as a useable egg cup, maybe it's more close to 3 stars.

This little guy reminds me of the characters in Among Us and is the perfect companion for my breakfast hard boiled egg. I can pack it in my lunch bag without fear of it getting squished. I bet everyone's going to ask me about him soon!
