Great appeal for 3yr.Eggs are used in for counting, singing songs, dance rhythm.Colors not as bright as hoped...but Great variety.The size is great for small hands.

Got these to give as party favors at our daughter's 3rd birthday which was music themed. Our kids still play with the leftovers! Not *as" nice as the fancy wooden ones from our regular music class, but definitely reasonable for the price and were a BIG hit! No concerns about them breaking open or anything. No strange smells. Nice sound. Would recommend!
