For the New Yearโs, Iโm organizing my cabinets so Iโm not using it for eggs, I have a lot of pasta and bagged food that I stocked up in this basket. Itโs a little smaller than I thought, but that has nothing to do with the shipper because they do include measurements so that was on me . I think itโs versatile, very pretty . I ordered another today . Some of the comments mentioned you could take off the straps so if you donโt need those, those can be removed. I canโt wait to get my second one and work on the next shelf.

I bought this basket to store garlic bulbs over several months and it is a very handsome basket and well constructed with the aluminum rim around the top for strength. However from the very first moment I saw it I did not like the appearance of the handles and after touching them and running my hands over them I am convinced that they are not leather. If they are they are then they are a variety of leather I have never seen that feels more like fake leather. I cut the handles off to remove what I didn't like and left myself with a great looking basket that will serve my purpose well.

The basket is cute, seems sturdy and will get the job done. It was for my son in law and he thought it was pretty cool...unless he was looking for brownie points. :)
