After you take it out of the box. UNROLL how much you're going to use. Cut how much you need & put 2 - 4 HEAVY objects on each end to help flatten it out. I do mine overnight.YES ! I WOULD reorder if I needed.

I ordered this magnetic mat to use in my home workshop for various signs and notes to attach to tools and switches. I found the product easy to cut and mark either with stick on labels, printed sheets or just a plain old Sharpie marker.I like that the tags/signs are easily removed if needed and can easily be updated or changed while keeping the magnetic backing intact and easily moveable.I like the versatility of this product and I think you will too. The product was easy to cut to shape and very clean and shiny on the exterior surface. Unfortunately when I applied it to an automobile's metal body panel - it would not pull itself flat to the surface. Very low confidence that this product will stay "in position" if I were to drive the vehicle with the magnetic vinyl on the car body. Possibly I should have ordered a thinner vinyl - this sheet was 40-mil, and the panel I cut for use was 4" x 42", applying it to a flat surface like the car hood, it does not lay flat with enough force to prevent air from flowing under it!

They do not claim that they are strong but do say they are suitable for automobiles, presumably on the outside, in high wind. So I thought they may do for sealing HVAC vents in unused rooms during the winter. Nope! They should be more clear about their strength.

Using this on a vehicle and found it very hard to get to hold itself on. The magnetic strength seems very weak compared to other I have use. I try to update this as to wether or not it flies off while driving.
