Its a rubber grout float. The handle is sturdy and comfortable enough for my small jobs. The rubber float will last if you keep it clean after each use.

Great purchase while remodeling our kitchen and applying grout to a large backsplash. The results were perfect. Used an extra Scotch sponge to “smooth” out the grout after application.
