Really no stars. Item had a dent in the side. The screw holes on the top where you attach the tower was missing treading on one hole and a second hole appeared to have a plastic piece stuck or broke off in the hole therefore making it unusable since you can not attach the tower. Now have to deal with trying to return this large item.

Works great for cooling kegs down to a very cold temperature. I have it set at the 5 setting and its at 34' . Had a problem with the door (damaged in shipping) but customer service sent out 2 doors . First one was also damaged so they sent another one . I've had this keg cooler for over 1 1/2 years and it still works great

My 20 year old Danby died on me last week. Since the tower and taps were in great shape, this replacement refrigerator was an excellent choice. Kudos to the reviewer who mentioned using 10-32 (1") machine screws to secure the tower. Perfect - the Kegco tower matched up with the holes in the fridge. Installation was simple and it is very quiet .

This is a great affordable gift for any man/woman who's into beers and ciders. Bought for my husband for fathers day 2021 to replace a kegerator my husband made with an old fridge he made. He said it gets super cold was easy to add his pieces and and performs well. very quite and a perfect fit for his man cave!

Bought the EdgeStar BR2001SS to build out a custom kegerator assembled from components @ my local beer store: 2 high end (Intertap solid SS) faucets (one a flow control unit), chrome-polished SS dual tower, used ball-lock Corny Kegs (2 units, 5 gallons each), CO2 Tank. Assembled a PC fan blower box to deliver fridge air to the dispensing tower. The fridge registered temps as low as 35F after cooling for only a few hours. Enough space to fit two 5-gal corny kegs, a dual pressure CO2 regulator, 5 lb. CO2 tank, and Fan blower box. Fridge arrived with absolutely no transit (or other) damage.

So happy I bought this - even though it was a kind of.. eh um... an intoxicated purchase. It's been so fun to have though! My only suggestion would be to get a unit that has all the parts included - I think in the long run you'll save some money. Still, I love my Kegerator! All my friends think it is the coolest thing - my apartment is the spot right now haha! It's very well made, and the instructions included are so detailed that it makes putting everything together a quick and easy task. My only complaint is that the Co2 tank hangs on the back of it, which prevents it from being more flush with the wall so it sticks out quite a bit. I wish the tank would go on the side - that would make the gauges much easier to read and it wouldn't stick out into the kitchen/other spaces so far.

Really nice refrigerator at an excellent price. Pretty much the perfect size to accept two 1/6 barrel kegs or if your feeling ambitious a single 1/2 barrel keg. Not too big not too small. Perfect. Pre-cut holes for the CO2 lines and the tower. Plenty of room to modify if you are going to add the capabilities to carbonate homebrew or to carbonate soda by adding a 2nd hole for a 2nd CO2 line. The stainless model is also a handsome unit. Not likely to be an eyesore.I fashioned my install kit to be as versatile as possible for carbonating homebrew sodas and homebrew beers. If you are not interested in doing all the extracurricular things and just drink beer, then I suggest you buy the kit that they sell.Also, Compact Appliance was prompt with an answer when I called. The faucet tower kit I purchased from another company supplied me with screws that were not built for the pre-threaded holes that were already in the top of the Edgestar. So I wanted to know what size screws I needed to install my tower kit. They guy didn't know, but he was willing to ask for help and got the answer, four 10-32 1" machine head screws, in a short amount of time. I like that he and the other guy I accidentally hung up on were willing to ask for help. Ran to my local hardware store and in no time had the tower, the last piece of the puzzle, installed. Set my pressure on the CO2. Then poured my first one. I'm not sure if it was the fact that it was my keg that made it taste better, or if it was fresh that made it taste better, or both. Doesn't matter, it was really good. After 3 or 4, sharing with a friend, the foamy head issue went away. Perfect pours after the 4th one.
