The wheels are solid, it looks good, and it fits a tower if you want one. The unit stays cold and does a good job cooling down two corny kegs, but there are some issues.First, the hole on the back for the tubing is only big enough for one CO2 tube. If you are trying to run a regulator with multiple outputs for different styles, you may need to drill another hole for the second tube. Why do they advertise it as holding two kegs but only one line, doesn't make sense to me.Second, the cooling regulator dial is not precise. If you need near exacting temps, either be prepared to play with the dial for a few days or just buy a digital controlled model.Finally, the shelves in this unit are absolutely garbage. They are weak, flimsy, and the slots they fit in are loose and unsecured. I bottled an entire keg, put the bottles in this unit laying down sideways on the shelf grates, and the top shelf on the second-down notches slipped off, fell into the other shelf, and the bottles came pouring out of the fridge. Lost 5 bottles of home brew thanks to the crap design of the shelving.Bottom line: Its not precise, it can hold two kegs but only pressurize one at a time, it stays cold, and if you are going to use the shelving, buy something else.

Setup was easy, my existing tower bolted right up and I like the CO2 hole in the back and tank holder. Perfect for a 5# bottle. Seems to cool well but only had it two days. Way better than trying to convert a dorm fridge.

Needed a new kegerator for under my bar. Found this on Amazon. Arrived safely and well packaged so, no damage. Fits great, no issues.

Nice unit, exactly as described. One thing not listed on the specification sheet is the cubic feet on the unit. Smaller than I expected but a great size. Extremely quiet.

This is my second Edgestar conversion minifridge. The first was for a kegerator, which I bought about 9 months ago and have nothing but positive things to say about. It works great and I haven't noticed any difference in my electricity bill.I ordered the exact same fridge to be my fermentation chamber. I hooked it up to an Inkbird temperature controller and just finished kegging my first batch. What an improvement to be able to cold crash and fine with gelatin before kegging. Next up, lagers! You could probably find an old used fridge and make it work as a fermentation chamber with some elbow grease, but for me it just was not worth the time or the effort. This comes delivered right to your door, and after taking it out of the box and putting on the casters it's ready to hold your wort. Money well spent for me.

Had the keg for about 9 months. It suddenly stopped working. Discovered a full keg that is luke warm. Contacted the seller tonight to hopefully obtain a replacement.I will update my review when the seller responds.

Well, my homemade kegerator I used to keep my homebrew finally gave up the ghost (bad compressor), and after looking at options it was clear that it was more economically feasible to get a new unit rather than try to repair the old one. I was torn between this and two kegerators that had the fittings included...both the EdgeStar model and the Nostalgia. Ultimately I chose this because I already had the tower, lines, and gas canister, plus I didn't want to give up my Perlick 630.So in case it isn't clear, this is the refrigerator ONLY. You will need to add all the rest of it. Fortunately, EdgeStar makes it fairly easy, though there are some hiccups. I'll start with those.I really like that the gas canister is outside the unit - believe me, force carbonating with chilled gas is a pain. There is a predrilled hole in the back for the gas line, but it's just a tiny bit on the narrow side if your gas line is already attached to a fitting. So you will either need/want to run a new gas line or, in my case, remove the plastic gasket/lining which will give you another couple of millimeters of clearance and just -barely- let you run a line with a fitting attached. Again, this is something to keep in mind if you're transferring gear from an old setup to this new unit.Another thing to keep in mind...the top is tapped and drilled for installation of a tower. The four screws were set such that my existing tower didn't line up with them. I ended up making a collar that fit the predrilled holes, then installed my tower on top of it. It works, and it satisfied my DIY urge that buying a premade kegerator didn't really satisfy.Assembly and setup was otherwise intuitive. I really suggest letting the unit sit upright for 24 hours after you set it up, to be sure the coolant has settled properly. You will need to put the unit on its side to install the casters, so mind that 24 hour rule.As I'm using this for homebrew the major thing I wanted to know was...how many corny kegs will it fit? It will fit TWO corny kegs comfortably. With these kegs though, you will NOT be able to use the included shelving in the unit...the corny kegs are too tall. If homebrew isn't your thing, it will fit either one full size keg (not an oversized), a pony keg, a slim quarter, or two sixths.Temperature control is easy. At the coldest setting my probe thermometer says it hits 34 degrees after three days of being on. The warmest setting (setting 1) was hovering around 41 degrees. The temperature spread between setting 1 and 6 seemed pretty uniform. I was interested in this because temperature is one of the key variables when it comes to balancing the draft system and making sure the beer line is the correct length.Other reviews are correct when they say this unit is quiet. I every so often hear a quiet -thunk- when the compressor engages, but other than that it's really a discreet system. The casters make it easy to move around if desired.My unit came with a selection of hardware (washers, hose clamps, etc) which I thought was odd since there were no fittings to install...but I'm country, so I'll roll with it.Overall, I don't think I could be happier with the system. I admit to a minor headache with the tower installation, but I got to use my improvisational skills to make it work, so it was a one time thing. At the end of the day, this thing makes it ultra easy for me to relax, not worry, and have a homebrew. It's a good unit and I'm glad to have it.

This kegerator arrived on time and in excellent condition. Saved quite a bit by buying the replacement fridge and adding a separate 2 faucet tower. The info says you have to drill new holes if you buy a 3 inch faucet, but mine lined up perfectly. The reviews from the other edgestar kegerators said the thermostat sometimes needs to be reset, but mine was perfect from the start, easily holds at mid 30's without dialing all the way down. What the other reviews don't mention is that this thing is so quiet! Mine is in a sun porch with bad acoustics, and I barely hear it except when it thunks on and off. This set up easily for my homebrew kegging, loving it!
