These are quality hoses but you need to be aware that the hose end that attaches to the bracket rotates and moves. Original Ford hoses are firmly attached to the bracket that bolts to the frame rail. Why is this important? Because as your wheel (and caliper) go up and down in travel, the hose is slightly twisted. Over time this puts stress on the hard brake line coming form your master cylinder. The connection (hose to hard line connection) at the bracket could potentially come lose. I solved this by welding a section of socket (11/16 I think) to the mounting bracket in such a way that the hose end cannot rotate. I called Russell (Edelbrock) to ask about this and they said I raised a very good point, but have not had any problems reported with their loose bracket setup. Make your own call I suppose, but Ford made the connection non-rotating for a reason.

Cost a little more than standard brake lines but look incredible and should last a very time. I wouls definitely recommend these to anybody looking for an upgrade to their brake lines.
