Description says this 648080 is to convert the gm ls power steering PUMP to older an6 hose but it is actually for the converting the gm ls steering BOX to flare nut. It is 18x1.5 mm o ring not the 16mm x1.5 o-ring -needed for the pump connection. Picture used in the description is of the 16mmx1.5(648060)

I used this fitting and the Russell 648060 adapter fitting to install a Hydraulic hose For the power steering pressure line on my 06 Silverado.Get A 4ft hyd hose made with AN/JIC fittings from your local Ag dealer or Industrial supply store, and away you go.No more jobber Parts store or GM pressure lines hemorraging or blowing up when it gets down -40.

needed to make a new line for a different pump and the pressure side hard tube wouldn't work so ended with this, a 90 fitting, and a new line. well made fit nice for the pressure side on a yj steering box.

Threaded into the steering rack of 98-02 fbody camaro perfectly. The return (m16x1.5) and pressure ports (m18x1.5) are two different sizes. The m16x1.5 is also used for the powersteering pump but the threads are too tall and left several threads exposed so I went another way myself. Otherwise great product.

It fit perfectly on my Saginaw steering box on the input side. No leaks. No need for Teflon tape as well.

had to make my own power steering return line for 2004 pontiac gto as i could not find it anywhere. used this to screw into power steering rack, then a -6an fitting on top of this with a hose nipple. worked great. never had a leak.
