Your cart is empty.The Edelbrock Metering Rods are designed for use with the Edelbrock Performer Series and Thunder Series AVS carburetors only and not with any other brands. These metering rods allow you to fine-tune your carburetor for optimum performance and are used to control the air/ fuel mixture. Since metering rods are available with different step combinations, it is possible to independently alter the air/fuel ratio for both cruise and power modes with a single rod change. The small area at the tip of the rod is the power step and the thicker area next to it is the cruise step with a dimension of 0. 075 x 0. 037. These rods can be changed in seconds by removing the single hold-down screw and are sold as a pair.

While these are genuine edelbrock metering rods in their original packaging they are NOT .75x.37. They are actually .73x.37 and clearly marked as so on the rod. It’s not an issue with this seller it’s an issue at edelbrock. I ordered three different sets from here, summit racing, and jegs. And all three “75x37” packages came with .73x.37 rods in them.

Did the job. Just have to find the right combination of rods and jets to get your Air/Fuel ratio just right. Problem that with Edelbrock sometimes it's a compromise. If you need the power to be really rich, you might have to richen the cruise side too unfortunately. But, with your engine combination (every one is different) you might get it spot on on both cruise and power.
