I have seen shelving units like this one in the Montessori school that my son used to attend as well as my daughter's elementary school. But it's also great for home use. You could use it to store shoes, children's toys, or just about anything else you can think of that needs to be organized. It was obvious as soon as I opened the box that the wood used for each piece is much nicer than similar shelving units you might find at places like IKEA. It took me a while to put it together, but once it was assembled I could tell how sturdy it is. This shelving unit should last for many years. I'm so happy with the quality that I plan to get another one.

This looks good after careful installation. It will be a bit time consuming but the final product is quite nice. I would definitely give it a nice wipe down before putting it in place. The cabinet is sturdy but not very good with heavy items inside the cabinet or on top of it. It will withstand the weight of a cat or two but nothing extremely heavy or I am afraid that it could collapse.

The unit looks really good once it is put together. The bases of each cubby is a thin piece of wood slidden in precut slots, but has a solid feel.It took about an hour and a half to fully put it together. My husband gave it a 2 out of 5 for ease of assembly.The overall unit looks nice and would look good either in a desk or hung on the wall.Recommended purchase.
