Worked perfect and ESSENTIAL. Attached a breaker bar to it and used a small 2x2 piece of wood to rest bar on to keep from hitting / crushing transmission lines (only needed for loosening harmonic balancer). Used another breaker bar w/ 22mm socket and pipe over that for extra leverage. Turned out that I needed the pulley puller also. Many said they come off pretty easy but mine did not and I live in Texas without rust issues.

Got recommended this product via a YouTube video saying this tool makes breaking the crank bolts loose on a 2JZ a breeze, and boy they weren't wrong.If you don't know how this tool works, let me explain. This tool mounts to your crank pulley/harmonic balancer via 2 bolts with washers, you then connect a 1/2 drive breaker bar to it. The inner diameter allows for your socket to fit inside it and slide onto the crank bolt. You then put your breaker bar up against the frame of the vehicle like I did, or push against it while also using another breaker bar to break the bolt loose.I used this tool and wedged by breaker bar into the frame and I broke my crank bolt loose with ease! I was able to complete the Job in 2 hours by myself. Definitely a must have if you're working on a 2JZ!

It worked. Held on tight, but I recommend using an extension to clear the ratchet from the fixture. Or have a deeper socket.

Seriously, it’s a game changer for timing belt services. Affordable, just put your bolts in a ziplock and zip tie it to the tool.

Well made and came in SUPER handy during the repair. Also you need this in order to get the harmonic balancer off so this is a good pick amongst the others.

Very simple tool, but invaluable in breaking loose the crank pully bolt that's at 230 something foot pounds on a Toyota 2JZ with hand tools. The included bolts (M8 I believe) fit the pulley holes perfectly, holds the tool securely and the tool takes a 1/2in drive breaker bar. Made loosening the crank bolt painless without having to resort to sketchy hacks like bump starting a wedged breaker bar. Just use something like the floor jack handle for leverage and crack at it. At around $22 it's a little more expensive than it should be. Around $15 this tool would be a perfect five stars on value. If you're gonna do it yourself, do it right, get the right tools.
