If you need to transport a bike that's 400# or less. This is an excellent option. The unit I received was properly manufactured. And easy to assemble. You will need a second set of hands to hold the bike upright while strapping it down. But overall it's an excellent value when compared with the much more expensive versions of hitch mount carriers.I had zero issues transporting a Triumph Thruxton over 200 miles of PA highways & country roads.

Extremely heavy for a normal (110lb) woman. But it’s a sturdy product !

Be very careful and aware of this product, this motor cycle rack is very dangerous, I’ve been told that motor cycles have broken loose and not stable on this equipment no matter what you do to secure it, I’ve also been told by friends that they had to fabric this equipment in order to keep their motor cycle stable….ive been told that motorcycles fell off and caused major damage m…Note: after completing the assembly of this equipment I tested it and found this to be true…. It is very difficult to stabilize your motor cycle on this equipment unless you fabricate it just to keep the motor cycle stable so that it will not bounce off

Used to transport my 440lbs motorcycle. I feel somewhat comfortable using it; but, ultimately bought tie down anchors to attach to it because the predrilled holes were too small for standard ratchet straps.Would prefer another set of drilled holes towards the rear. The pivot bar for the wheel is difficult to roll over without leverage or torque. Had to actually put torque on the bike to get it in place. Took two people to remove from the pivot bar. Will likely remove and use wheel straps in future or keep tools in the Jeep to loose each trip. Would love a stabilizing bar.Moves a bit while driving but not enough to be unsafe.

The carrier I received looked and felt high quality. The welds were clean and the paint finish was even and smooth. Like other reviews mention I but some traction tape on the surfaces because it is very smooth. The tow hitch om my Hyundai Santa Cruz is only 10 inches off the ground and the ramp provided is almost as long as the carrier itself so it was a very gradual incline. If your tow hitch is as low as mine the traction tape wasn't necessary but highly recommended if your vehicle is lifted. You can assemble this alone it took me about 40min. The instructions aren't great and doesn't specify which length bolts go where but if you lay them all out its pretty intuitive. If you can assemble IKEA furniture this will be easy for you.I was nervous about the ground clearance once I loaded the bike that it might scrape on the ground but after loading it up the bottom of the carrier was still about 8 inches off the ground. (KTM Duke 200 is about 300 lbs) I picked the bike up from the dealer over 100 miles away and brought it back over speed bumps, freeway, and horrible AZ roads. It never touched the ground once. The tire cradle is nice and gives you plenty of support to balance the bike with one hand and get your tie downs in place with the other. If you high a lighter bike this is definitely the way to go! I don't have any room in my garage to store a trailer but this thing stores nicely against the wall when it's not needed. If you're considering this product then hit "buy now" the quality for the price will make transporting your bike so easy! Best Amazon purchase I've made in a long time!

Easy to assemble. Works great. I have it on my F150. Works great for my 2023 KTM 390 Adventure that is about 375 lbs. Is sturdy and keeps the bike snug. Much easier than getting it into the truck bed. I can use it for my bike and still use the bed with my camper shell to store equipment, etc.

Used it to bring my motorcycle along on work trip. 1100 kms and had no issues. Extra straps to roof rack definitely helped stabilizing. At the same time i would not have used it if I didn’t have option of securing it with roof rack, it moves around when loaded up with weight. I did made a new hole for the pin about 10” lower than the one it came with to make sure its deep in there

J'ai dû ajouter et souder deux barres de métal de travers pour solidifier, car bougait constamment en mouvement. Il aurait été impensable de faire de longues distances sans modification. Conçu pour très petites motos.

With a couple easy changes this is a pretty cool carrier. One things that isn't really highlighted that should be is the fact that this is rather modular. You can pick if the ramp is mounted behind or in front of the bike, you can pick which side you load/unload as well. This was important to me because I chose to put the ramp between the bike and the vehicle so I could mount an LED light strip with brake/turn/reverse lights since these get blocked by the bike when it's on the carrier.Good:Fairly pricedLong 6 foot rampModular and adjustable to many bikesBad:SlipperyAnti rattle/sway adapter is junkThings I did to make this better that you might want to do too:1. The carrier and the ramp have zero traction. If your bike happens to drip oil, fuel or has cold tires it's sliding right down with nothing you can do to stop it. I bought some 6" grip tape to use on the ramp and the carrier itself to help prevent the tires from sliding around and make it easier to load and unload.2. There is some thin, black, foam packaging that comes in the box. I kept this and cut two strips to put under the ramp when it's stowed to help dampen any vibrations and noises. Some adhesive rubber pads would probably be better and last longer, but this is already included.3. I was not a fan of the way the wheel lock pivots. It is just bolted on and metal to metal. I got some cheap nylon washers to help prevent metal on metal rotating and wearing down the paint. It works as is and this isn't needed, I just didn't like it.4. All the bolts come with nylon lock nuts, I still used a bit of thread locker on all of the bolts for extea peace of mind.5. The anti rattle/sway thing that it comes with is honestly kind of horrible. Spend 15 extra dollars and get a better one .6. As mentioned above, I added an LED strip with running/brake/turn/reverse lights. Super easy to do and plugs into a trailer harness so hopefully no one plows into whatever you are carrying.
