There's all kinds of way you can lower your water pressure, and the biggest one I've seen starts right at the faucet. Standard splitters reduce the opening for the water to come through, which lowers your pressure, and the more stuff it has to go through, the more pressure you lose. So, your best bet is to get something like this faucet splitter, which is a full flow valve, meaning that it doesn't reduce anything coming out of the faucet. It's solid brass, the valves seem sturdy, and I don't have any leaks from it. I look forward to using it this upcoming growing season!

I like this hose splitter. The handles to direct the flow of water are plenty long and easy to turn. It appears to be all brass (except for the included washer in the female connector. Easy to attach and tighten at the water source. Seals well and so far, has not leaked. I have 5 hose bibs on a 0.4 acre lot and use a 2-way or 3-way splitter on each bib to accommodate my poor man's sprinkler system.
