While I had high hopes, these turned out to be a terrible purchase. I purchased these for my 2009 Subaru Forester as an upgrade for the OEM brakes. I bought EBC's complementary rear set from another seller and did all four corners at one time. Having done brakes before, I took my time at each corner, prepping the hub surface, checking bolt torque, and cleaning things thoroughly before installing. After the installation, I re-torqued everything to spec, checked the runout, and then bedded in the brakes as per EBC's included instructions. I had also bled the entire system to ensure there was clean, synthetic fluid flowing to all four corners.Unfortunately, within a few months, the brakes developed a significant shimmy that translated to a severe shake in the steering wheel when braking. Thinking it was something "easy," I checked the torque on the lug nuts and made sure the tires weren't damaged. All was good. The shake progressed to the point that it was noticeable even during low speed braking.I took it to a trusted local mechanic who, among other things, does work on my auto-cross friend's car. He diagnosed a deformation or warping of the rotors. After ordering new brakes (back to OEM), I once again checked the runout and it was within spec. Took off the EBC bits, slapped on the OEM and 2000 miles later, I am shake free. While the seller tried to work with me on a warranty claim, EBC refused to warranty the kit (even though I was within the warranty period).Never again with EBC...I guess it's OEM for me.
