My son has long wanted a good RC vehicle. He was very excited to find this one, especially because he wanted a truck style that could go off road.Pros:-extremely effective over a variety of terrains. My son was able to drive is into and out of a dry irrigation bed, down concrete steps, and over dirt, turf, and pavement.-good appearance-potential for customization; my son is already researching how to switch out components and change parts of this truckCons:-not for beginners; the booklet does not explain how the remote works. It gives names to functions but does not explain what those functions are.-many components cannot be removed or adjusted without specialized toolsMy son has discovered some helpful youtube videos by searching for the vehicle name. These materials have been far more helpful than any of the materials packaged in the box.

UPDATED REVIEWI’m dumb I thought I was missing a link but that’s how it’s supposed to be! It crawls well but feels very plasticy. Body looks good.

So far so good, just got it this morning. Smaller than one would think for 1/18, barely bigger than my scx24 power wagon . Will update after a bit more use. Advertised with a gear shift function but comes with no ability to do so, also says released with many upgrades available but have been unable to find any. Working with support to resolve the shifting issue. So after a few weeks of back and forth, nothing, it says 18th scale but most of it takes 24th scale parts, they adverise it being released with upgrades available but they can't seem to find any. They sent me batteries to compensate for misleading advertisement and they were cheap 2s batteries when it came with a 3s. It's an ok machine but the set up for the rear 2 axles are too close to put even slightly bigger tires on. I'd suggest buying the injora or meus 6x6 or 8x8 chassis and building your own before wasting money and time on this(which i have now done).Good little rig but lacks what it claims it can do.
