When I upgraded my trailer and needed an additional sway control, this one fit the bill. It was very easy to install (I did it myself) and it really helped stabilize my rig.

This is the third different brand of sway control that I have installed/used over the past 14 years on a couple of travel travel trailers and EAZ LIFT is by far the best quality so far...I just wish I’d tried this brand/model sooner.

Installed easy with no problems. Make sure to to over drill the screw holes since that are not bolts but screws. Just did a 8 hour one way trip with my pop up and no issues. The first couple times you hear it sound like a whale with the break noise was a little scary. But figured it would make some noise

I last mont finished a 4,500 mile Trip with this sway device. It was a great item to have on windy days and with interstate traffic speeds. Large trucks passing me had little effect on my trailor pulling. Great product easy to use. A great safety item.

After driving nearly 1600 miles with our 8329SS using the dealers recommended sway bar setup, we decided to double down. We were told one sway bar is more than enough for our trailer. However, after reading into the details of the sway bar, it was not rated to handle the all the weight of our trailer. So we installed the second sway bar for less than $80 before our recent 400 mile journey to Paul Wolff Campground in Illinois. This has been the most pleasant towing experience we have had. Hope this helps someone else have a more relaxed towing experience.

I tow a 28.5' long camper with a 2010 Tahoe. even with WDH and a friction sway bar I had some sway while following trailers and when they would pass me. I installed this as a second friction sway bar and so far I have very very minimal sway following a trailer. i usually only have that sway when a trucker passes me and then comes back over in front of me as soon as he is clear (making it feel like I am following to close). The clips that come with this are much better and more durable than the standard hitch pins. I am glad I spent the money on this sway bar.

Tow Vehicle: 2013 Ford Expedition Trailer: 2015 Keystone Outback 7,427 lbs (9000 lbs GVWR) - 35' LongI had towed my travel camper a few times using a load distribution hitch. At highway speeds, the trailer would sway occasionally and it was a bit unnerving. When tractor trailers passed, the sway was VERY noticeable and, a few times, my trucks anti-sway system engaged to keep it under control.I decided to add this anti sway bar as well as the 48380 (passenger side unit) to my set up based upon the length of my trailer. The welding mentioned in the instructions is required ONLY if the hitch on the tow vehicle does not have provisions for a sway bar set up; my load distribution hitch already had places to mount each of the sway balls so no welding was needed (If you are installing only one unit, you may want to consider part 48386 - a bolt on adapter that requires no welding). It is necessary to drill 6 - 11/32" holes in the frame of the trailer to mount the sway ball plate. I was able to do this and install the ball plate with the hardware attached in about 15 minutes (per side). We took a 1500 mile trip with the trailer over 7 days and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! The only time I felt anything close to sway was when being passed from behind by a tractor trailer. When that occurred, the trailer and my truck were pulled GENTLY towards the passing truck but it was very easy to maintain control.Turning sharply to make right or left turns in city traffic does create a "creaking" noise; when riding on the highway, there is no noise at all. Some have commented that backing up is not possible with the sway bars attached. This is extremely dependent upon the application. I was able to back up with the both bars installed both with them tightened (engaged) and loose (disengaged) without issue. The instructions explain to verify that there will be no binding or over extension when moving the trailer into a "jack-knife" position and I verified this before backing and again, had no issue.I HIGHLY recommend this product. It has made a tremendous difference in the handling of my truck when towing and has made me feel much more comfortable towing my trailer.
