This latest purchase will be number 8 of 8 of these types of breakers that replaced the long-bodied, blue labeled breaker that was original to the dwelling (2017). The OEM long-bodied breakers cannot be found anywhere. All original breakers gave error code of 6 with no rhyme or reason when to trip. My guess is there *might* be a fluctuation of the electricity entering the dwelling.These AF/GF breakers are typically used where there is an appliance with a motor. They are also used for kitchen outlets but not used in the bathrooms, garage, or outside.One of these newer, short-bodied breakers have also been replaced with again an error code of 6. The latest generation of these breakers with the smaller label seem to be doing well with no issues.Electrical panels have since been redesigned where there is no pigtail needed for the neutral pole which now make these breakers obsolete.

This breaker was specifically requested by a difficult inspector at final after having already passed electrical with a regular arc fault breaker… it worked well and passed inspection the second time.
