I had this in my pool about a month and then the White separated. Still I am trying to get in touch with the company for a replacement weight. Mediocre workmanship.

This is our second one of these. We have been very happy overall with the fountain.The only issue is with the piece that screws into the inlet it goes in fine but is nearly impossible to get out. The tabs break off. I have been forced to use a chisel to remove it. It is definitely the weak point in the system.Everything else works great. As stated before, this is our second one. We used the first one for almost 20 years.

Never got installed as elbow pipe connector and accessories for water return pipe did not provide proper connection. There are 4 connection options depending on water return. I have typical inground 1.5 inch pipe with Hayward brand threaded insert, eyeball, and large screw-on nut. Option 2 requires removal of the threaded insert and replace with similar screw in piece. Other options have short extension pipes. Problem: none of the options prevent the elbow from moving inward. In other words, there is no backstop for the elbow insert to remain in fixed position. You're better off assembling with your own plumbing. Returned this and ordered a traditional riser pipe with holes.

I didn't do the "install into a pool outlet" thing as I knew I had minimal pressure from them. Instead, I attached the clear tube to my sump pump, dropped everything into my pool and plugged it in. The spray was too high (over 10 feet), so I allowed some of the water to dissipate by attaching the clear tube to a "T" fitting before attaching to the pump. The excess pressure escaping through the extra opening did the trick.I also had underwater LED lights which attached easily to the floating base. Very happy with the results.

So I had read some other reviews about how great this fountain worked to cool off a warm pool and I could not believe that a fountain could really be that successful. But I figured that even if it worked half as well as claimed then my pool would still be much more comfortable. Well, believe the reviews! My pool went from 95 to 85 in the first week of using it, and only on the lowest setting. (I have a 24 foot above ground pool, and the fountain is probably designed for a pool bigger than what I have; if I used any of the other settings, I'd have water blowing out of the pool!). We've had a couple of nights in the 70's and this morning the pool was down to 80 degrees, almost too cold! Like others have said, the hose is a little flimsy, but if you want a clear hose that is very inobtrusive in the pool, then I think this may be as good as it gets. As long as you make sure to roll it completely out flat and don't let any kinks get into it before you turn on the water flow, you should be fine. Definitely worth the money. Took my pool from bathwater to refreshing in just a few days.

We did lots of research and hunting online to finally find such a fountain that is simple to attach and "work" with NO batteries to run low or need replacing, NO plug-in motors and not even solar to worry about. We were thrilled with this fountain purchase. It came in great time, for a fair price and packaged well so it arrived in perfect condition. We would do business with this company again anytime. Great product - good pricing - great service!
