PARTS WASHER: The Eastwood 40 Gallon Parts Washer is specifically designed with heavy-duty, all steel components and a quality powder coated finish to provide years of trouble-free service. It features a re-usable filter and an oversize Tub accepts larger parts and allows longer fluid life.
HOW TO USE: Place parts to be cleaned on the Parts Tray. Bend “Gooseneck” so that cleaning solution to flows completely over the part surface, wetting it completely. Allow time for solution to soften any grease and debris then use a suitable parts cleaning brush (not included) to remove stubborn deposits.Allow excess solution to drain from parts then remove from washer and rinse in warm water.When done, turn pump to the off position, close lid and unplug unit.

Like a lot of high school kids, Curt Strohacker worked in a service station to earn some spending cash, but he also repaired cars in his free time, buying and selling countless vehicles, and learning valuable lessons about restoration. As the market for automotive refurbishing began to take off in the 1970s, Curt realized that proper tools and techniques could save enthusiasts like him time and money.

So in the fall of 1978, Curt launched a business to better serve the burgeoning market of auto restoration and customization hobbyists, and he called it Eastwood.

The parts washer is working good and is easy to assemble. The only issue I had is that the hardware was not packaged well. The box had a hole in it from shipping and a lot of the bolts and nuts were missing.

OK, first. This is not a solvent tank! I 100% thought I was buying a solvent tank. It is beautiful but it is only for soapy water. Which I have no use for. And to return it you have to pay for your own shipping. Which cost almost as much as the unit according to the quote from ups.
