9/10 of my expecting clients love this cushion for prenatal massage treatment. The ones who didn’t were either at the very end of pregnancy or having twins and they had difficulty getting comfortable because the weight of their abdomen was pulling on the lower back while laying prone. However, it’s a great investment and many folks will book just for the luxury of being able to lay face down while pregnant.

So there's nothing I can say that hasn't already been said by other reviewers as far as product quality, however, I have seen many people commenting on the difficulty of storage. I purchased a 50" garment bag and the pregnancy cushion fits in it perfectly! I hang it on a door hook in my treatment room. I’m a licensed massage therapist and out of all pregnancy bolsters/set ups/pillows/wedges I’ve used over my career, this one is hands down the very best and the favorite of both mine and my mama clients. It is pretty tall so your manual table will have to be lowered as much as possible, even for me and I’m five foot seven inches tall. But every mama that has gotta to lay on her belly again, has said the instant pain relief on their back alone is almost enough of a “massage” for them, and they’re asleep in minutes!

I bought this after using one briefly during a prenatal massage. I’m in my third trimester of pregnancy, and sleep has been a problem for me. I highly recommend this pillow if you prefer stomach sleeping and/or sleeping on your side has been giving you hip pains while pregnant. It’s a big pillow - pity your partner if you regularly share a bed - but they’ll survive, after all you’re the pregnant person here. I don’t usually sleep on it all night long, but taking naps on it or sleeping half the night has been enough to mitigate a lot of the hip pain I’ve had in this pregnancy.A few caveats - I’m 5’4”, and this pillow would be more comfortable if I were an inch taller or it were a bit more compact. As it is, my chin bumps against the torso support a bit uncomfortably (not a deal breaker). Second, the U-shaped face rest pillow is really uncomfortable, but it is removable (held on with Velcro). Just replace it with a cheapo neck pillow like you’d get at an airport and you’ll be fine.

Strong foam prenatal support wedge. Puts hips in neutral active position to target deep muscles without pressure. Great for prenatal as well as clients with severe low back and hip issues. When I used it on my first non-pregnant client I had a true aha moment. This will help you work smarter not harder.Great for clients who get uncomfortable after being face down longer than 15 min.Great alternative for prenatal massage.Size is good for most average height people.Belly pillow is great support for all stages of pregnancy, as well as non-pregnant clients.

(I bought this years ago, I’m just getting around to reviewing it now.) This is a great product! I am a massage therapist, and not only did I use this for pregnant clients, I used this with everyone! It is soooo comfy! When it arrived in the mail, I tested it out, as you do, and woke up an hour later, so comfortable. If you’re a massage therapist weighing out the different options for prenatal pillows out there, get this one! I got so many compliments from clients. I guess the only downside would be that it’s very bulky and doesn’t fold up like some of the other ones out there, but like I said, I used this for all my clients, pregnant or not, so I did not have a storage issue. There are arm holes under the face part which is so handy. It’s very easy to wipe down. There is a removable cushion for the belly part (which I used for the non-preggers). I’ve since moved, and no longer have my business. I work for a clinic that uses the typical foldable style, and I so miss my old one! (I ended up selling it to another RMT.) This thing is amazing, get this one!

Amazing!! My prenatal massage clients absolutely love this cushion. It immediately takes the strain off their lower back and is very comfortable for the breasts. Just by using the cushion my clients are relaxed even before the massage begins. If my clients could take this cushion home with them they would.

I got this for my massage practice because I work on pregnant women constantly. I was just having them lay on their side but it caused them shoulder pain after some time. I can't wait to use this! I laid on it myself and it was very comfortable. The face cradle is removable and I will be putting my own on it as this one is not the most comfortable. I will post a update after I use it.Update- 6/18/17I have used this a few times now on clients that are in their 3rd trimester and they absolutely love it! It is very supportive and comfortable.Update- 6/23/17I just used this on a client who is on their third trimester and she is petite. The chest area was uncomfortable for where there is a gap, I had to put a towel over it. The breast openings are very spread apart which made it awkward for my client who has a smaller frame.Update 7/11/17I used to face cushion that came with it and my client informed me that the next day their face felt bruised to the point that it hurt to smile. Don't use the face cradle, find one that is padded.
