I have purchased more than one pair of ear plugs similar to these. These are actually a little smaller than the ones I had, but it is a noticeable difference. It's nice to have many different tips to choose including both single and double tips for each size. The medium tips in another brand was the same size as the large tips for this brand. The reason for the one star is that it didn't matter which tips I used and how it was placed in my ear, they just didn't filter out any noise.

These ear plugs are some of the most nice looking ear plugs I've seen. They have a nice metallic / glass like finish that reflects. There are several sizes of ear tips in the set so I had to test and make sure to use the one that fits my ear perfectly to block out the most noise. The ear tips are soft and comfortable to wear. I wore them through the night and didn't feel any uncomfort. These helped me have a sound sleep through the night.

Mine arrived with none of the ear tips in their respective spots. I think whoever was supposed to package mine must have skipped it. Finding the right tips was a little confusing as a result, and there appear to be two that might be the same size - probably because one of them comes ON the earplugs to start - but I'm still not entirely sure which.These are pretty effective so far. With the wrong size tips, they block basically nothing - I feel like this has to be what some other reviewers are experiencing when they say they "don't work" (or perhaps didn't have the needed size for their ears). With the right size tips, they sort of seal around the ear canal and the volume of everything around is significantly reduced, as expected.The exterior/loop part of the earplugs was a little tricky to angle in the right direction at first, but I'm starting to get the hang of it. When in the right place, it really makes them feel secure and prevents the "rustling" effect I get from foam earplugs, where they shift too much every time my jaw moves. These still give some of that underwater feeling, but not as bad as disposable earplugs and with less abrupt changes in the sounds coming from inside my own head.The case is basically perfect and I kind of want to go out and buy more of those to keep tiny things from getting lost in my purse!I'll be having our kid try these next to see if they fit, because if they do, they're a way more economical option than the big expensive brand.

These ear plugs are GREAT! Exceeded expectations! I use ear plugs when going to NBA games, live shows and music concerts. Getting older and want to preserve my hearing for the next stage of my life!Anyway, I have used a number of different ear plugs (noise cancelling and otherwise). I really like these ear plugs because they are easy to insert and they really block the noise. They are comfortable and stay in nicely. They come with a number of different sized eartips (from XS to L) so you can definitely size them to your specific needs. IF I want to have a conversation, I can easily loosen one of them, have the conversation and put it back in. Love the convenience!

Not very often is it appropriate or necessary to discuss my wide ear canals. But...they are wide. It is often difficult to find earplugs that will remain in place. Lots of adjustment choices. These stay in place, are comfortable, and do a great job in moderately noisy environments. I was really surprised that they worked If you are planning on standing near a jet engine, you might want something a little more powerful.

Selouj EarPlugs, Earplugs Case provide noise reduction that meets CDC's recommended -15dB of hearing protection as judged at its "hearing protection quick test" page (do an internet search to find it). They were easy to fit. Once in, they stayed in place. I wore them comfortably for over three hours, including during side sleeping. This set is unusual in that in addition to several sizes of mushroom-shaped tips, there's a pair of Christmas-tree shaped double layer tips, but I could not get a good seal with the latter (and I dislike that style anyway because it can cause wax impaction).I usually go for colors that can easily be spotted on a floor in the dark when buying this style of plugs and/or factor in the cost of buying two pairs, because if you lose one you don't have a backup.I have been trialing multiple ear plugs ever since I discovered that when I want modest general noise reduction* (as opposed to "high-fidelity" noise reduction during music practice) I can successfully wear the large or medium tips of a mushroom-shaped style that doesn't need to go deep into my small ear canals. I have been surprised that plugs, all made in China, which look similar on Amazon product pages have been as different as they have been.*Folks! 40 dB = the loudness of **a refrigerator hum** , 15 dB = a whisper. CDC says if you achieve a 15dB reduction with an average consumer earplug, it's fitted properly. You're wasting your $$ if you hope that these and most other consumer earplugs will block "all" sound.
