I'm a little hesitant to give a 4 star rating because there is nothing really wrong with this thing or is the fault of the supplier. But I do have one issue. I didn't buy this for fish rather I bought it to hang metal bottles over fires. My issue is that it is coated...:/ No where in the description is that stated. Even on the eagle claw website it doesn't state what its made out of either. I'm going to assume it's made out of galvanized steel which is what their competitors cleary states on there websites. I though this was uncoated stainless steel. I will throw this directly in the fire and burn off the coating to make it safer for being in contact with water but even still galvanized metal in drinking water is supposed to be a bad thing. For $5 it will be chopped up as a learning experience about asking questions before buying

I am in an area where we catch snakeheads, they have very sharp teeth...this longer fish spreader works great.I highly recommend it.
