Got this to authenticate vehicles through my gate. In my testing so far, it looks like I'm getting about 4-5m of range, which should work perfect for my application. I have an ideal mounting location, centered 18' overhead on a "ranch style" gate entrance and angled to match the typical slope of a car windshield.The ID I get from a wiegand output is a little wonky, I do wish it had a way to hash the tag ID and trim it down to the limited number of characters allowed by wiegand, so I didn't have to rely on some sort of offset to trim down the ID of the tag.
