Several Important Factors Affecting the Tensile Force of Magnets
1.Only when the thickness of the tested steel reaches a certain level, the magnetic flux through its cross section would be the largest and the leakage magnetic field between the magnetic poles is
the smallest, the tensile energy can reach the ideal value.
2.Only when the force is perpendicular to the contact surface can the tension reach the maximum. When the force is parallel to the contact surface, the pulling force can only reach 1/3 maximum.
3.Magnets attract only magnetizable materials such as iron, cobalt, nickel and their alloys. It can not attract non-ferromagnetic plates such as aluminum, copper, wood, plastics and stainless steel.
4.The farther the magnet is from the magnetic material, the greater the leakage magnetic field and the smaller the pull force would be. Therefore, the surface paint adsorbed by magnets is also an
important factor affecting the pulling force of magnets.

I don't know About anyone else but I just Love, Love these little things, if you have metal cabinets , tool boxes etc. in your garage these are a must have item . I hang everything on them inside and out. Try it you'll like it.

I ordered for my son who thought they were unnecessary. He changed his mind immediately on college move in day and thinks these are the most essential purchase. They are very strong and hard to move from a metal beam of a bunk bed. He used to secure lights, towels, coats, bags and more. Great item!

I bought these magnets with the hope of using them on my long arm quilting machine. These magnets are super strong and they hold the weight of quilting rulers and multiple quilting stencils! The bend in the hook is perfect for getting 1/4 inch thick rulers on and off while also not letting the stencils just fall off. I highly recommend these!

They certainly hold strong and are almost impossible to get off. I did not give 5 stars because the hook section pulls off too easily. The hooks are only attached by a small pieces inserted into each side (think like tongs)and they come out easily leaving just the magnet. Frustrating that the magnet holds but the actual hook part comes off.

I bought a new set of silicone spatulas, and found they didn't fit in my drawer. I wanted them to be close to the counterr where I would use them, and thought maybe I would like them to hang within arms reach. First I tried hooks made for office file cabinets, the spatulas were too heavy and they fell off. Then I saw these on Amazon and decided to give them a try. They work well, not only do they hold the spatulas without falling off or slipping, but it is great to be able to move them closer to my workspace to keep them handy if I need to. The magnets are strong so the spatulas don't slide down, but still not to strong that I can't move them or lift them off. They metal hook also is strong enough to hold the spatulas without bending out of shape. Great product!

Supposed to be 67.5mm and 290grams but clearly this is not the same product. Too small for what I needed.Strangely different size again to another Oz reviewer.US reviewer photos look correct &good reviews so maybe stock in Australia is wrong. Someone should check so people are not misled.

Magnets are weak and hooks very small. Not the product that's advertised. Returned as useless for me
