Work for what I bought them for, but they are hard to open/pad sticks to packaging like other reviews said. I tore them open from a different side and it was fine. I use these for my horses severe thrush in his hooves. I pack them into the sulcus them boot him. I paint the rest of the hoof with an iodine/clove extract mixture. So far so good!

Well worth it! First time I bought iodine packets that the gauze inside wasn’t dried out. Excellent antiseptic cleaner.

These are a staple in my first aid kit. Yes, iodine turns your skin yellow. But I have found it does the best job of keeping a wound site clean and clear. The box these come in is relatively small, making it easier to fit into your kit. This is a well known brand in medical products, so the quality control is top notch. Every first aid kit needs these in it.

I started buying boxes of these individually packaged items for first aid kits. Now I'm hooked! We much prefer these individual packages over a tube of anything! It's nice because we all have Altoid Tin first aid kits for purses. I also made a little larger first aid kits with some tins purchased here on amazon that are just a bit larger than an altoid tin. Those tins are 3-3/4 x 5 x 1-1/2. (see pictures attached). We have kits in purses, cars, desk, sports bags, etc. I even give kits away for free to my girlfriends, and we plan to make mini kits with the neighborhood kids this summer excluding some of the items I have pictured which are not appropriate for kids to handle....mostly they will have bandaids, lip balm, etc - we will let their parents decide what goes in their kit.) Purchasing tubes only allows for the product to be at home in the medicine cabinet. Having these individual packets allows us to carry everything with us everywhere. If we use something, we simply replace it when we get home. I can't begin to tell you how handy this has been in just the month or so we have been carrying first aid kits. See pictures attached. I do have a few more items on order and there is plenty of room in my tin to add a few more things (additional bandages, pepto bismol, tylenol, benadryl, etc.) My 14 year old son was helping me cook and got a small burn on his hand while taking something out of the oven. We right away put cold water on it and this burn gel and it worked like a charm.

I use watered down povidone iodine to wash my dogs feed with once a day or more during allergy season. Since my dogs allergies are so bad and they seem to get worse with grass and weeds I wanted something I could take along to use on the go. These are perfectly packaged that I can through a bunch in my purse with all my other doggy needs to keep on hand to clean up his paws. They are also handy since they can be used for cleaning cuts and small wounds which my other dog is accident prone so they come in handy for her too. Plus you never know when you're going to get a cut yourself and want to clean it up while your on the go. These would be great for any first aid kit.

I used to carry a big bottle of povidone iodine but it was too much space and weight. These come in a very thick foil. It's actually kind of hard to tear open but I like that. The pads are soaked well. No complaint here. These are great for throwing one in sterile saline bottle to make a disinfecting wound wash. Also great for use in minor cuts. Looks like they have a fresh lot since mines expires in 2018. Definitly a must for medical back pack to save space and weight. I also replaced my alcohol bottles with alcohol prep pads. You can never have enough alcohol prep pads. Definitely will be buying more of povidone iodin prep pads again!
