After paying a ridiculous amount of money to have dermaplaning done at a medspa, I decided to do it myself! The #10 blades is what a lot of the aestheticians use, and it didn't disappoint. I found this brand to be very sharp, and loved that it came attached to a disposable handle already. After one session of my DIY dermaplaning, I am hooked on these scalpels.

This was the perfect size scalpel to put in my first aid kit. As someone who spends a lot of time fishing in remote locations, I've been present to help remove a few hooks from fingers and such. These are small enough for to make little incisions without too much worry of going over board when you can't just cut the barb and back the hook out.

My hand surgeon didn't finish the job, so I have to do this myself. The individually wrapped blades and handles make for a sterile procedure and I can dispose of the scalpels safely by reinserting them into their plastic sleeves. Each blade comes out sharp and the wrapper doubles as a clean surface to wipe the blade as I work.
