Very easy to install and connect. The igniter is a little slow to catch. Overall, very pleased with the item.

I like to move this smaller heater into the cold spots in the room or run it close to where i'm sitting. Portability is the only reason to buy this over a larger unit. Each panel is about 6K BTU. The battery powered igniter is great. The igniter and thermal sensor can be cleaned to fix some ignition problems.

I have been running this heater for a couple years now. I have not had any problems. Easy to install and it kicks out lots of heat without a great deal of cost. I run it 24/7 and it heats a much larger area than advertised for slightly less than $100 a month. I really don’t turn on our main heater, because this one is more efficient. By the way, I run it at 50% capacity most of the time. I am heating about 800 well insulated square feet, that includes a loft of about 300 square feet, open floor plan with an outdoor temperature running between 30-40 degrees Fahrenheit this winter.

I just received this heater and had it installed a few days ago ( the hardware needed to install wall bracket was not in the box but several bucks at my local hardware store took care of the parts i purchased needed to install the bracket) at first the heater worked great. The problem began after the heater was turned off. When going to turn it back on several hours later the pilot light kept going off as soon as i started turning the dial towards the low setting. The first time it did this was the following morning after installation. It took several times getting the heater to come on after having to relight the pilot light before each attempt. It worked fine after getting the heater on but the very same thing happened early this morning (Only Having The Heater For 2 Days). Having to go thru the ritual of lighting and relighting the pilot light after trying to turn heater on....Extremely frustrated and very disappointed in this heater and the purchase.

This heater at 11000 BTU is right around 2 space heaters at ~1500 Watts. It warms up my mudroom great and does a great job burning with minimal odor, but it is not safe for indoor home use. I love the heater, it outputs tons of heat and I would buy it again. Only downside is routing natural gas to the heater (which was a pain for my setup), but in my area it's 5 cents for 5000 BTU of natural gas vs 22 cents for electric (with all the extra fees), so it's already paid for itself in the 30 days of my ownership. Also, I bought the feet so it stands out from the wall. Seemed to make a good bit of difference so air flow can actually move. Product is great, but install was kind of a pain.

I installed one of these as a supplement to my central heating system. My objective was to make it so thatI do not heat Rooms I am not in. Provided that you have some knowledge of how to install gas pipe it is a fairly simple job. The heater works well and I only want to add one thing. Instructions are not clear on how to turn the control knob. To turn into control knob from pilot to a heat setting you have to press down slightly on the control knob and turn. I only use it when I am present in the room. Otherwise it does stay on pilot.editI took the nut shown off and tried air but had to use a small diameter piece of plastic to get through the hole. I used air afterward and VOILA we now have a heater again. One great thing abut the manual is it shows what the flame should look like.
