The paper is so dense and dark that normal ink does not want to show up you have to have colored ink to show up on the paper. Especially for a hand dipped pen. otherwise I like this set and it was as described.

The two papers on the middle were supposed to have four of each, but I only received one each and random other pages that were not pictured.

I love that I bought this, so much! I can have style to writing letters to my best friend now like she does to me. And there are so many different designs and I love it. I'm definitely going to be buying more because this comes with everything I want/ need.

I use this set to do my Santa letters for the kiddos and they loved it! Add in a nice wax stamp and you have the makings of some magical Christmas letters.

Très satisfait de mon ensemble, parfait pour rédiger mes correspondances. Ça serait bien que les enveloppes ait soit scellables par compte, je suis obligé de les fermer avec du ruban adhésif. Plus de feuilles avec des lignes seraient aussi les bienvenues.

1: Far smaller sized paper than I anticipated (not 8.5" by 11", but 5.75" by 8.25")2: There are an insufficient amount of envelopes compared to the amount of papers provided.Specifically there are 6 black papers with a rabbit on top and weird slogan, 8 brown papers with a rabbit on top and weird slogan, 4 brown papers with carnations (or some puffy flower) as a border, 4 brown papers with a leafy border, and 4 remaining brown papers with a thinner curly border. These papers are all the same dimensions.There are only 8 envelopes fitted properly (4 black and 4 brown) for all of those papers. There are an additional 6 brown envelopes, but they are larger and obviously intended for a larger card or paper that was not included. This means there's a total of 26 papers, but only 14 envelopes-- of which 6 are too large.3: The differences between the types of paper shown in the photos are absolute and stark, in a nice, clear way. They are not as clear in person. I.e. The shades of brown are only slight fragments different.***The item is precisely as advertised** except many of the papers have an unnecessary rabbit logo on top that definitely wasn't shown. For the most part though, I just didn't read the description as thoroughly as I should have, so I definitely 1. will be doing that in future, and 2. recommend you do likewise.1/5. Would very likely not buy again unless desperate for some reason. High point was the cool little metal keys that came along.
