The Stainless Steel Static Pressure Tips are used to measure static pressures in ducts or rooms. They are to be connected to Differential Pressure switches and transmitters. Two static sensors are used in applications where Differential Pressure is required across a filter or coil. These sensors inlcude a mounting flange with integral rubber gasket and two screws for simplifying mounting on a duct.

Worked as advertised. There was a 0.005 SP difference between this tip and 4 other tips. The SS is better for after the heating unit. I like the foam and the screws were easy to install on the 1" x 2" installation plate. This Tip is 4" deep and may be more accurate than a straight one.I used 1/4" OD black irrigation tubing, T's, and elbows due to cost savings and then a larger 1/4" ID tube to go over the end of the Tip and over the black tubing. It worked great.

Received (2) Dwyer 4" stainless steel static pressure tips for use with a low-pressure differential gauge to monitor my air cleaner filter cartridge. The tips were easy to install through 3/16" holes for the tubes and self-tapping sheet metal screws for mounting. Mounting plate includes foam rubber gasket for sealing. Connected 3/16" ID soft plastic tubing from the static pressure tips to the low & high connections on the diff gauge. Zeroed the gauge, and started my home heating system.Tips and gauge work perfectly. Air cleaner cartridge manufacturer recommends change-out when gauge reads 0.5 inch of water differential, but AC service companies recommend change-out every 6 -12 months, which is a waste of money. New air cleaner cartridge operates at 0.1 - 0.2 inch of water when new. The static pressure tips and differential gauge will allow self monitoring of the air cleaner cartridge for longer service life, less filter changes, and saved money.
