I bought this because I needed more counter space but also something I can move around the wheels don't move at all and if I ever try to move it it start to fall apart. It sucks don't waste your money

Very nice. My hubby is pretty handy so it only took us 3 hours to get together. It is sturdy. The only thing that I feel they could have brought up a notch was the flat back of the island. The middle is inset a bit and the hardware to hold that panel in is not very attractive but it is not a huge deal if you can hide it in your space. I have attached a pic of the back.

The island came in 2 boxes and both arrived early, my husband built the island with minimal help from me ( mostly just holding things and helping flip assembled pieces). The directions were pretty easy to follow, but some of the pictures you have to decipher. I wish the drawers were deeper but other than that we love the island! The cabinet is very deep, I have a dehydrator and other small appliances stored in there and there is so much room! It's very sturdy and for 300 the island is an amazing value for the cost! This was one of the only islands I found that was a large size without the fill out table (which we didn't need, I wanted more prep area for the kitchen). We already have a trashcan storage. So we put paper towels in our side area (I got the idea from another review!) overall we love it! Nothing came in broken and we left the wheels off and it still holds up very well! I would definitely recommend this island!

Overall good quality. Storage capacity is nice. We bought this with the intention to get rid of it once we build an actual kitchen island so aren’t expecting a long longevity. Seems good enough for $300. Has some issues rolling but not by much. My other gripe was that the strip that connects the to back pieces was brown? Why brown and not black to match everything else?During assembly the skirt steps were missing but easy enough to figure out. We were also shorted some of the hardware pieces. Called the manufacturer who directed us to Amazon. Amazon helped remedy our issue.Shipping it comes in two separate boxes that potentially can be delivered separately.Only one piece had the black surface chipped. The whole thing aside from the top is composite.Overall would buy again if needed. I like the size and is one of the only non leaflet islands that has this wide of a countertop. I am happy with the product!I’ll update the review if anything changes.

If you value your sanity -do this before you start assembling.1. Organize everything alphabetically and set up all the hardware on a table numerically. There are A LOT of pieces.2. Make sure your drill is charged and you have a 5/8”Drill bit ready to go.3. Once you’re all set, take your handy drill and pre-drill every single place you need to screw in anything. The pre-drilled holes aren’t deep enough and your hands will thank you for making easier work later when you have to screw in about 37,000 screws. (You can also do the predrilling at each step!)With a helper, it took about 4.5 hours to put together. Would probably have been less time if I learned lesson #3 earlier when screwing in all the caster wheels to the base. That step was patience testing akin to assembling ikea furniture.The directions are really easy to follow. Having a second set of hands is helpful but this project could be done solo (although may be challenging flipping over once base is installed).Bag #6 (cam locks) didn’t have enough and bag #7 wasn’t used (smaller cam locks that I used instead but weren’t in the instructions).There were a few cosmetic issues with the paint but not bad enough to send it back. Have a damp microfiber towel with you to wipe off all the pieces while you’re assembling.Fully assembled it looks great! Love the navy color and the brass/gold handles are pretty. Locking caster wheels are located and one side and kind of tricky to reach - not too bad if you have small hands. TONS of storage. Didn’t plan on using the trash bin side so it’s not the holder of all the paper towel rolls which makes me giggle.
