Replaced this in my General Portable with the 992cc engine. Worked fine for 6 months. Beryl came to visit and knocked out power. Generator ran fine for two days, then the new solenoid failed. Took 2 hours of troubleshooting in pitch blackness at 10pm to figure out this brand new part was bad. I had to have the generator working since my wife had medical issues, so I pulled out the plunger and reinstalled just the body to make it work during the hurricane.

I'm always skeptical about aftermarket parts, but this solenoid was so much less than Generac OEM I took a chance. So far, so good.
