WHAT IS A BALL JOINT?

A ball joint is an enclosed spherical bearing that connects the control arm to the steering knuckle or spindle - it is a ball-and-socket design, just like your hip, and it needs to be replaced as it wears out.

WHY REPLACE A BALL JOINT?

A worn ball joint causes poor handling and makes it difficult or impossible to achieve an alignment, which leads to rapid tire wear. Replacing your worn ball joints gives a noticeable improvement in steering feel, handling, and safety

DV8's D-JKBLJNT-01 is designed for rugged offroad use. DV8 uses SAE4140 chromoly steel studs and SAE1045 steel housings to make one of the toughest ball joints on the market. These ball joints are also greaseable which allows for standard maintenance and increased longevity. The grooves on the side of the housing are closer together resulting in superior resistance to turning that can occur and also helps makes the install easier.

Pressed in fine. c clips weren't needed unless you want to file your spindles. Pens did not have c clips. Lowers won't fit a grease fitting for driving but supplied bolts to plug the holes. Fittings to grease them are supplied just remember to remove them. Seem sturdy and durable, made in USA. Time will tell on quality

This is my beater Jeep that I tend to Jeep speed and these ball joints seem to hold up well so far. I Love the color! Works on Dana 30 and 44s. Would suggest that if you do this job yourself that you get a 4wd ball joint adapter kit, they sell them here on Amazon and it will make the job twice as fast.

Great packaging and heavy duty parts. Had gotten confused when I received them because on the box it says for Dana 44 and no where did it say anything about Dana 30 so I had to call DV8 customer service to check to make sure and they told me that yes it will work with Dana 30
