My girl was having a really hard time. She kept breaking bones. She had to have major surgery on a wing and the vet said she just does not make enough calcium. We tried hormones as a last resort to stop egg laying but that was only temporary. The feed shop had a girl there who had 9 ducks and I asked her for advice and she handed me this product. My girl has been. Laying perfect eggs and has had no broken bones in the last year! I wish I had found this sooner.

The bottle comes half full, but says it will make 20 gallons and it did. Chickens are fairly young and the hot weather was stressing them so I got this to help them out. I had to mix it as it didn't automatically dissolve in the water. I didn't notice any smell, just an orange color to the water. The chickens drank it with no hesitation. Not sure how to see if it was effective other than they seem healthy. It also cooled down in our area which helped with their stress level.

I use the Durvet Vitamins & Electrolytes for my chickens, ducklings and goats. They've all been incredibly healthy with no health problems whatsoever, even through our cold Wisconsin winters! I absolutely swear by this product and will not be without it. I subscribe to it monthly!

I do not like that is in powder form I assume it would come in liquid form as other vital vitamins do!

Works well, haven’t mix in the vitamins which isn’t a big deal. Chickens ducks and pigeon loved it

After adding it to the water the powder does not dissolve completely. Some powder remains at the bottom even after an extended period of time (several hours).

In my pigeon coop one of the baby pigeons for some reason wasn't able to stand. He was crawling around on his wings. After some research I discovered it was rickets and that vitamins will help. I tried to hand feed the baby pigeon with kaytee exact with other vitamins mixed in, but I do not have the talent. I was simply unable to get the food down his throat. Bird just wasn't improving at all after days of trying. I then tried this vitamin in the water. I had him isolated in his own area, and I put a little dish out with a double dose of the vitamin in the water. Within 3 days he was walking again. The entire previous week jerking around trying to feed him by hand with other methods and other foods amounted to nothing. This vitamin did the trick. I also took the leftover jug of vitamin water and gave it to all the rest of the flock and the birds are laying tons and tons of eggs now. I gave some to the guinea pigs too and they loved it. Good stuff.
