Im a contractor and I use 2 of these to hold tools and materials. I also have one that I keep our home gym in. On one shelf I have 620lbs of olympic plates, ~400lbs of dumbells on another, etc etc. Its a lot of weight and it handles it no problem. it needs to be set on flat ground for the door to work best. Im pretty sure these will outlast me. I wish they sold extra shelves on Amazon!

Product was underwhelming (held together with only a few tack welds, gaps/holes in several places, ill fitting doors) and I should have bought the Strong Hold brand instead as we use those at work and they are pretty awesome.

I did a lot of research on a cabinet for my garage before buying this beast. After looking at residential products from the likes of Sears, Home Depot, and others I stumbled upon the world of 12-gauge industrial cabinets. Once you learn about the build quality of these types of units, the wimpy residential quality cabinets look like toys. The biggest problem with a 12-gauge unit is the shipping weight; most places charge several hundred dollars to ship one. That makes an already expensive purchase even harder to justify. When I saw this cabinet was available with free Prime shipping from Amazon I thought it too good to be true. I should note here that apparently it was too good to be true because after I made my purchase the price went up by $165.This is battleship quality. Every shelf could be loaded to the max with bags of concrete and this thing wouldn't even break a sweat. It's the kind of object that will last a lifetime and can take what ever you throw at it (or put in it). I love it.
