I am tired of taking damaged items to the post office to send them back. Always arrives damaged. For a Slide Rack made of thin metal, the packaging is disgusting - just a cardboard box!

I was really looking forward to this and when it showed up I was disappointed that it was damaged during shipping. I sent this one back and bought another one. Shippers fault!!

It's a really heavy duty slide rack for the holding of Durham drawers. It's impressively robust so the next bit is a bit surprising.My first one arrived with a massive dent in the lower back so big that the rack wouldn't even fit on its base. So, I requested a replacement. The replacement arrived with a massive dent on the upper right such that the top slide wouldn't work properly. I had a chat with Durham support about this and they blamed Amazon. So, either Amazon beats these things up or the Durham factory is shipping scratch-n-dent units to Amazon. There's no way to know without inspecting what's in the warehouse (hint, hint, Amazon).Amazon wouldn't let me do a second replacement, so I had to take a refund. Since I don't know what's going on with Durham/Amazon I ended up ordering from a different supplier for my replacement of the replacement.So, 5 stars for the rack itself, if one can get an undamaged unit, but -1 star because I have no evidence that Amazon can provide an undamaged unit regardless of whose fault this is.

Worked fine for years, then I broke one of the slides, so I called the company, they offered no support or parts, they acted like it would take congressional action to order a slide. Very disappointed.

Packing was absolutely stellar. Heavy duty cardboard outside and expanded cardboard inside...it couldn't have been packed better. The cabinet didn't have a mark on it. The slides are FAR superior to my Craftsman toolbox slides. The bins fit perfectly into their drawers. I bolted it to the cabinet it sits on. There is a lot of weight in the drawers when they are full now...you don't want that falling forward. You can pull a drawer our, flip up the lid...and you can access everything in that organizer 100percent. This wasn't inexpensive...but it is a 10/10 quality. If you are wondering if it's worth it..it is.

I like the ideal of a place to store your your boxes and a great place for storage for all you Nuts and bolts, small parts along with all your electrical parts! The only problem with this particular boxes is it is cheaply made, not worth the price, you would be better off in purchasing the cabinet for more money as you get what you spend. The drawers slide poorly and the cabinets are to shin for the weight of your boxes!! The four drawers seem to be a little bit better made and they hole your boxes. Your best off buying less drawers and more cabinets to store your boxes in stead of a 6 drawer. Now I'll purchase two 4 Drawers storage cabinets instead of a 6 drawer cabinet!

I'll add some photos here shortly but I ordered this with the 32 and 16 compartment boxes and this really does what I need it to. I initially looked to Sortimo for the same general solution to having LOTS of random fasteners hanging around this really made my life easier. Sortimo was just 10x more expensive.In the world of tools/fixing things when you buy "what you need" you are already putting yourself in a position where you'll require more space down the road. So opt for getting the 6 compartments and dont stray away from the 32 compartment box (the slots are extremely deep for all the nuts and bolts you can fit.Also, labels stick really easily to the finish. And the ball bearing rails slide really smooth even when you have a compartment box (that weighs >25lbs) slide nicely.10/10. Would recommend to anyone. Seriously, buy this. Durham makes getting organized easy.

Love these parts racks! The bearings are smooth and will hold a good amount of weight. I use them for everything...from electrical connectors to nuts and bolts. The only complaint I have, though small, is that the sheet metal used on some areas of the exterior is a bit thin, making it easy to bend in certain areas. The structure or frame of the unit is strong and holds the drawers without any problems. There were a couple spots that were bent slightly during shipping, but it was easy to bend back and did not affect the function at all, so I'm still giving it 5 stars. There are less expensive options out there, but I've yet to find anything of equal or better quality.
