Works for what I needed. Just wish base around bottom was a little larger to cover hard water marks from around old one.

We bought the Dura Faucet DF-NMK852-SN RV Pull-Out Swivel Kitchen Sink Faucet (Brushed Satin Nickel) to replace the leaking faucet in our galley. The quality of the product is excellent. Camper van galley areas are far more compact than most RV configurations, so we were seeking a replacement whose intake shank fit the existing opening of 1 3/8" but also provided a bit more range by being a pull-out. It was difficult to find the shank specifications from the Amazon site, but further research at the manufacturing site provided greater installation details. We still had to route the opening slightly in order to install the faucet. For future buyers of this specific faucet, the opening should be closer to 1 1/2" and the area below the opening, where the 'nut' screws onto the intake shank, needs to be between 1 1/2" and 2" (or more so you can get your hand in there!). The pull-out hose is longer than we would have liked (close to 5') since storage under the sink is so compact but we're hoping the additional convenience at the sink top will balance out that small annoyance.

A good faucet for the price - the swivel is easy and goes about 110 degrees and the faucet is fairly easy to install (not sure why some complain about difficulties). Some annoyances:1) SLOW WATER FLOW IF UNMODIFIED. Installed as it came, the water flow was rather awful, so I removed one of the flow regulators (the one in the spray hose where it connects to the faucet) and the water flow improved tremendously. There is a second flow regulator where the spray hose attaches to the spray head (you can easily unscrew the spray hose from the spray head), which has a far lesser impact on water flow (so you can take out one or both regulators according to your preference).2) AUTOMATIC RESET OF SPRAY HEAD SETTING. For some reason the designer thought it a good idea to have the spray head automatically reset to "stream" whenever you turn off the faucet. It's actually a terrible idea - rule number one of user interface design is not to change a user's setting!

The faucet on my new camper failed after 5 weeks of use - when disassembling it, it was apparent it was junk. After looking on line at the various options, I realized I had used a Dura brand faucet on a prior camper and was happy. This one pleased me even more. It is substantially built, was easy to install, and puts out both a good spray and a well aerated stream. It feels well built in use. My only knock would be instructions are not included. If you are a novice to plumbing, you may want some help from a friend.

The product is advertised and stated in its specifications on the Amazon site to provide a water flow rate of 2.2 gallons per minute (GPM), but once installed (using a stop watch and a gallon marked bucket) the actual measured water flow rate is measured as being 1.2 GPM. So I removed a flow constructor device found inserted in the nozzle of the faucet, presumably put there during manufacturing, and the flow rate then increased but to only 1.4 GPM. Then I had a plumber come to my house and he adjusted the flow control valve attached to the water line leading into my house from 60 psi to 75 psi of water pressure for the water entering the house. That resulted in a 1.6 GPM from this Dura faucet attached to a home (not in an RV) kitchen sink water line, which is still a far cry from the advertised 2.2 GPM flow rate. So the specifications (2.2 GPM water flow rate) for this product are therefore clearly fraudulent and untrue.

I ordered this RV faucet for my boat. It is the perfect size, length, and height for this purpose. The faucet assembly is very heavy, solid, and very well built. Good lever control, good stainless steel sprayer hose, good swivel system. Works perfectly. Only disapointment is the installation instructions...the worst I have ever encountered. If you lose the instructions, I've listed the full supplied instructions here: Install faucet, flush lines, wipe with a dry cloth! That's it! Too stupid for words. You have to go online to hunt down only slightly better instructions with illustrations. Otherwise, this is a great faucet that I am very happy with, at a very cheap price for what you get.

We ordered this faucet and another, comparable residential one to replace the leaky old Moen that came with our 20 year old motorhome. This was constructed as well as the residential faucet but had the definite edge due to having flexible pex lines, as opposed to rigid copper. It was very easy for hubby to install as a result, other than not being sure which was hot/cold. He got it backwards but we decided to leave it...we already got used to it and don't have the hot water heater going that often in our rig, anyway. This faucet has a good reach, easy, positive feeling buttons, good flow, and looks good, too. Great replacement for a RV!
