Great quality picks that I’ve been using for well over a decade. I’m using the black 1.35mm for bass guitar and the blue 1.00mm for regular guitar. I prefer thicker picks with a sharp edge. They last much longer than picks with an edge that’s already rounded.

Excellent product. Dunlop always makes a great product but I've always used their tortex sharps 1.14mm picks and I recently saw a video and read a separate article about how I may be using too thick of a pick or the wrong pick and I must say that going down the 1.0mm pick has been an amazing choice and I will never go back while being sturdy but also flexible it makes playing my guitar so much better and feels even greater than ever before!!!!!

These Dunlop Tortex (blue) are my favorite guitar picks. I like the matt feel of the pick and makes it “grippy” without being sticky. Might be psychological but I find the pointy tips feels faster and seems to snag the strings less.

If you play metal or need precision picking, try these out. I bought like 3 packs of 100 so I wouldAlways have them. Excellent sound projection and durability. They’re definitely longer than a normal pick so you either love it or hate it. I’ve tried hundreds of picks at this point and there’s just no other pick for me than these.

I bought Dunlop sharp 0.88. I wanted to try a thinner Sharp pick. But for me it kind of defeats the purpose of having a sharp pick. A sharp pick needs to be at least 1.0 -1.5 to be fast of the string.I didn't like this thin one, tho I love the 1.5 ones. It's also very covered in dust. I read it's plastic dust from the production. I asked Dunlop and they said it's a trade secret. Someone else wrote that it's from the process of tumbling picks to smoothen out the edges and all the plastic dust from that.To each their own tho.

Was using 2.0s (prodigy sharps) for a while, but the tip on those lost its sharpness so quickly. These are great. They’re bigger than standards, they’re bigger than those prodigies (sharps), and I really like that. I play slam death metal, lots of obnoxious double stops, but these stay sharp for a while. Even when they start getting dull, they still have a good amount of sharpness to use (takes really long to get to that rounded pick shape).1.5mm, nice, sturdy, wide, more space to grip. 72 picks for $25.00, excellent price. Before, I was paying $10 for only 6 picks that would go super quick. These are gonna last way longer. Great picks. I recommend!

I play shows 2-3 times a week. I mostly play with my fingers, but I use a pick on maybe 5 songs a night. I play a Warwick 5 string thumb with 45-130 strings for some reference to string tension. Long ago I used the regular green Dunlops. Eventually I felt they were too thick. A couple of bands I was in had a Jägermeister sponsorship, which basically meant I got some free tee shirts and a whole bunch of picks. I don't know the thickness, but the Jaeger picks seem like they are absolutely made by Dunlop, and they seemed just slightly thinner than the greens. Damned near perfect pick if you ask anyone who has used them. I have used these for years now. One night whilst playing a show, a song came up where I wanted to use a pick and realized that I had forgotten to put some in my pockets so I asked my guitar player for one. He pulled out his picks and gave me one of these. He warned me that they were pointy, but I didn't care. Changed my world. He gave me the rest of them at the end of the night because I liked them so much, and because he hated them. To each his own I guess. Even though I have hundreds of picks, and am quite cheap at times, I had to buy some more of these because these are perfect.

I Tortex sono una sicurezza: comodi, durevoli, con ottimo grip. La forma sharp accentua la punta che trovo utile per plettrate più veloci e pulite.

I have been using these picks for years and years. At any given time, I usually have at least 50 of these floating around. When I discovered these little purple pointy picks, It helped tremendously with my picking technique. It forced me to be way more accurate because of the pointless and rigidness of the pick. The control now comes from my wrist and hand. I do lose them on a regular basis (my fault) but you can always tell where I have been because no one else I know uses a purple pointy pick. Kind of my signature.

These give thin pokey sound. These picks are fun to play and feel great they slice right through the string. Easier to play fast and articulate but rhythm stuff never sounds right especially if you’re doing some triad stuff on the treble strings. Single note stuff can even sound harsh. If you any weaknesses in your right hand they will magnified with these picks. I’ve been play oversized jazz iii picks. Better overall tone. More forgiving on technique.
