The Northmas Electric Dumpling Maker is a great idea for anyone who loves making dumplings but wants to speed up the process. The cordless design makes it convenient to use anywhere, and the charge lasts long enough for multiple batches. If you use it correctly, its seals quickly and efficiently.

I have used this once. Tomorrow, it will be packaged up and given to Goodwill or Savers. The unit was fully charged. I put a mere ½ tablespoon of filling into the store-bought wrapper. The rollers rolled a bit and got stuck. I had to manually continue the twist to make the dumpling fall out. What's the point? A manual dumpling maker would do it better.I like the idea and would gladly pay a higher price for a sufficiently powered system. To date, I have not found one. I strongly advise against purchasing this unit.

This machine did not work as well as expected. When I put the wrapper on it and put the teaspoon of filling, it would not complete the circle, I had to use my hand and push it through every time. I did charge it for the 3 hours recommended, it still did not work right.

Once you get everything you need - it really is quite easy. Just need correct size of dough and correct amount of filling.

Buy the dough, at your local Asian market. Mix ricotta, mozzarella, salt, pepper, basil. Add a protein option if you like, and make incredible raviolis!! Works real nice, trust me!

Well I totally admit that I bought it to make wontons and not dumplings. So my review might not work for some people it actually does work to make wontons it's just you have to put in the right amount the amount it says does not work it's like maybe a little bit more than a teaspoon. Or else the same will break. But considering doing them by hand takes me over an hour I recommend this hands down definitely worth the money

First off, do you really need an electric dumpling maker? No, of course not. But if you're a gadget freak like I am and have few dollars to spare, this is a great toy. There are a few things about it that could be better, like it could include some filling recipes and it could include a 3 1/2 inch wrapper cutter. But recipes are abundant on-line and 3 1/2 inch cookie cutters are readily available. And the advice in the minimalist instructions says to use a tablespoon of filling, but a tablespoon of filling causes the machine to work too hard and the filling oozes out of the wrapper. A half tablespoon works just fine. You also need to position the wrapper carefully on the holder. But none of these things warrant dinging the machine a star in a review. If you like Asian dumplings and you like toys, this thing is definitely a winner.
