The remote is awesome the receiver is iffy. I went through 3 servos in one day one used and two new. I'm not saying it's the receiver but it's hard not to say it is. Great remote questionable receiver

Compact RC controller with a ton of setup options. Packs a fair bit of tech into it that should be more than enough for most RC projects. Buttons to change channels on the fly if you have accessories with your RC (manual identifies things like tank turrets and other things that take an extra channel). It's very light, I might actually prefer just a little more heft. The wheel could maybe use a little more turn radius, but should be acceptable.Tested it out with a steering servo and a 6v nimh battery pack and worked exactly as expected. Planning to use for a DIY RC project I'm working on and just needed something that had some good features without being crazy expensive like some radios. Range was fine, and went at least as far as I'm planning on driving the RC vehicle.

I'm still in shock. For the money, this little radio system has more quality, reliable features than anything else on the market, period. The signal strength and clarity are just incredible, and the lightning fast cannot be beat. The last thing to make a point of is the signal range. Although I haven't had a chance to put it to the test yet, the description on Amazon and the specs in the manual claim it has a 400-500 meter range, which I definitely do not doubt. Bottom line: Unless you intend to race pro or competitively, this radio has all the features necessary and many more than I have listed here for bashing and getting the most out of your car/truck/boat, so why spend more?
