Your cart is empty.Propylene glycol is a viscous, oily fluid which is commonly used in many products. Food grade propylene is safe for drinking and is non-toxic. It is often used as a food preservative, a non-toxic antifreeze, a humectant (to keep foods moist), solvent (ink jet printer cleaning), and in food refrigerant applications, such as in making ice-cream. For antifreeze applications, we recommend using no more than a 60% by weight solution in distilled water. Water has a high specific heat capacity, so only the appropriate percentage should be use to prevent freezing and boiling. Excessive use of propylene glycol will cause the antifreeze to lose its ability to retain sudden increases in heat and often cause system failure, especially in vehicles. (This is the same rule for ethylene glycol as all) Use the following table as a guide for your antifreeze application.

Shopped around and this was the best price per gallon (including shipping charges). Using in a hydronic heat/cool application that will be exposed to outside freezing temps in the winter. Mixed 35% glycol with deionized water in a sealed system for long term use.

We can’t have any odor because it would taint our ice, I have bought other products on Amazon that said no odor and smelled like rubbing alcohol. Super happy with this product will buy again.

It is what it is. Pricey due to use in pharmaceutical and sanitizer applications for COVID. Usually 1/4 this price.

Second time I purchased this. Like the quality, price, packaging and delivery. Whatever way you're using this for the 5 gallon is the way to go. Unless you're already buying 55 gallon drums. This mixes right into my other ingredients easily. Smoothly, nice aroma.
