Your cart is empty.Copper Brazed Stainless Steel Plate Beer Worth Chillers The Most Efficient Worth Chillers by Duda Energy Plate heat exchangers are the most efficient and economical heat exchangers in the market. When used with worth chilling, you will save the most in time and water. To clean them, simply back flush with clean water and then bake in an oven to evaporate out all of the water for storage between brews. If you are looking for an economical chiller, choose one of the B3-12A models. The B3-23A models have twice the length of the economical chillers and are the preferred models by most home brewers. If you need performance, we highly recommend using the B3-36A models. Remember that the length of the unit is most important for efficient heat transfer while adding plates is generally to relieve pressure drop through the channels (with some added heat transfer). It's usually better to buy a longer unit than to get one with more plates for the sake of performance. Note: Our beer worth chillers have garden hose fittings for the water side. If you prefer to use standard pipe fittings or need a bigger unit than the B3-36A (serious brewers) please check for other plate heat exchangers by Duda Energy. Any heat exchanger can be used in worth chilling. We carry these units with the most convenient fittings for typical homebrew applications.

Very nice cooler and I like that it has much more surface area so it cools the wort faster!

I chilled 7 gallons of wort from boiling to 69.4 degrees as fast as the wort would gravity feed through the chiller. I was told that the longer the length of the chiller the more efficient it would be. It took about three minutes from start to finish. This is one of the best investments to be made in home brewing.
