Dual Lock fastener is a strong, reliable attachment that also opens and recloses, look no further than Dual Lock Reclosable Fasteners. Strong, interlocking mushroom-shaped heads slide past each other to close with a snap, then peel apart easily when you need to reopen.
What is Dual Lock tape?

Removability / Disengagement
To disengage we recommend Dual Lock Reclosable Fasteners be separated at a 90-degree angle. Leave a gap or area where you can apply leverage to put the Dual Lock into a cleavage/peel mode, a screwdriver or stiff spatula can be helpful to separate the parts

Dual Lock Reclosable Fasteners can be used in various applications within each rail car or bus. The uses can vary from sidewall/panel attachment, installing ceiling panels, building seats and lighting attachments with new ideas emerging. The Dual Lock tape still can be used like typical heavy duty double sided mounting tape, foam tape, waterproof tape, and normal hook and loop tape strips, EZ pass mounting tape, etc.

Works wonderfully and is reattachable too! If you want something to hold tools or cooking implements etc., that you use every day and want to hang them back up, this works exactly that way. Just make sure you let the adhesive part mounted on your wall or wherever cure overnight. Then attach the other part to whatever you want to hang and you can remove it over and over and reattach it. Holds perfectly! Highly recommend.

I was hoping to use this material to attach foam loudspeaker grille covers (like the barbed hook material that came with the grille cover kit and that I can't find anywhere). These mushroom-shaped "hooks" don't grab onto the foam at all. Maybe I'll find another use for this stuff.

The single greatest invention since Velcro.As a matter of fact... Screw Velcro!This is the difference between a standard slotted screw, and the invention of the Philips Screw [sp].Hands down, superior to Velcro.

Very useful and robust product. Similar concept to velcro but superior performance.On velcro there is that fuzzy side that always seems to wear off. And the hooks side that seems to weaken over time. On these both sides are the same - so you don't have to worry about matching them up. And they seem to be much more robust and less likely to lose strength over time.Having said that I've only had them for a week so no experience yet with long term use. But having had much experience with velcro I'm more than willing to be optimistic about this product.
