Nylon braided, heavy duty
This dual 1/4 TS to XLR Y cable is nylon braided design, it is strong and heavy duty.
OFC shield, no hum no buzz
This dual quarter inch to xlr breakout cable is full covered with spiral OFC(Oxygen Free Copper). OFC layer can effectively keep out RFI and EMI. Under the OFC layer, there is also a aluminum foil layer. With OFC and aluminum foil layer, this cable will carry your signal without having to worry about interference. Anyway, we do not suggest to put the cable over AC power plugs, power adapters, chargers and others that ouput RFI and EMI.
Gold plated TS plug
Dual 1/4 TS mono plug is gold plated design, this design can reduce signal distortion.
Carefully check the Splice Distance
The distance from the splice to the TS end is 45cm/1.5feet, means the distance between the two TS end is 2.8feet as the longest. So it's not convenient to use this cable to connect two separate instrument.
Unbalanced Connection
This dual mono to xlr male splitter cable is unbalanced connection. The tip of the both 1/4 TS connector is soldered together to link to the pin2(hot pin) of the XLR connector. So you don't need to distinguish right and left channel from the two 1/4" TS connector. They can be mixed.

Bought it to use from my interface / iPad to mixer. Did not work. Loud distortion no matter what I tried. Went back to my rca. Worked like a charm. Tried with other scenarios. Still the same.

Works perfectly for connecting an XLR only speaker to the 1/4" dual stereo outputs on my mixer. Sound quality is great and I like the braided cord. Although it doesn't effect the quality, I was also very impressed with the excellent way the cable was packaged. I would definitely buy from this seller again.

I basically bought this to be able to unite a 12-channel with a 4-channel mixer when I would need a couple of extra channels, and it worked.I put one of the 1/4" plug into the left channel of one of the mixers, and the other one into the right channel and then plugged the XLR plug into my powered speaker, and it worked fine--I didn't need to go out and buy a new 16 channel mixer.
