It may not be fancy but boy does it make up for it in features. You CANNOT go wrong with this Radio. I have never spent $80 so well in my life.

I buy a lot of RC products wish I could just buy from Amazon but I am always looking for a deal, when I bought this transmitter I was surprised at how much different things this Radiolink can do for the money I would recommend it it’s a great transmitter.

C’est un très bon produit mais il ne fonctionne pas du premier coup. On doit faire des ajustements qui peuvent être un peu compliqué mais au final tout fonctionne.

I love all the options that this radio provides and the inexpensive receivers. That being said there is one issue I have had with it. The radio has randomly disconnected from the receiver a multiple times and regained connection after a minute or two, no loose connections found.

I need to preface this review that I went into this purchase generally unhappy with Radiolink. I was an early adopter of Radiolink transmitters - it seemed like a great alternative to other brands when it first came out. I purchased a RC4G with the promise that it's firmware could be updated and it had a gyro. In reality, I was highly disappointed with a cheap feeling radio, that I had to recalibrate (which never quite seemed perfect), that didn't have the USB port to update it (and no way to add it or hack it), and that required me to file/smooth to get the full trigger range. Radiolink eventually released a version with the USB port and kept repackaging the same unit in V2, and now the V3 variant with the promise of new menu screens and features. At the same time, silently, they updated their FHSS system and made the newest receivers incompatible with the RC4G V1.2, which is where I was stuck with the reality that I had to decide to upgrade to continue using my receivers and purchase new ones. So, I decided to bite the bullet and buy the V3 hoping to get some more time out of it.I purchased this radio to replace my old RC4G which the latest R6FG receivers are no longer compatible with. The radio is packaged OK. The scrolling speed has been greatly improved, with some nice new features like the signal strength indicator, a timer, and now 30 model memory. The trigger has been updated and is wider, and has a little more resistance. Beyond that, the rest of the ergonomics and build quality are identical... and still bad. It still feels cheap and flimsy. It still does not fully center properly out of the box - requiring you to recalibrate it to get the right amount of deadband in the center. The end points for the trigger and steering still don't register properly at the ends of travel. The joints are still poorly overlapped. The buttons still feel loose. I guess that's how they keep cost down, but I had hoped that at least the quality out of the factory would be better after 4 years. The binding process works OK. The gyro kind of works, but not great. No real improvements in that space and I continue to be underwhelmed by it (more gimmicky). The channel mixing and controls adjustments are nice - I will give them credit for giving the user a lot of different ways to try to adjust the radio. I chalked up the issues I had with my old RC4G to being new to the game, but looks like nothing has been learned. The real kicker - the original R4EH-G receivers are not compatible (even contacted Radiolink to confirm), but oddly the R6FG V2's work (which also work with the original RC4G). Pretty disappointed and that was the deal breaker for me. A company should not change protocols without denoting it somewhere and/or providing an option to continue getting receivers.I am returning this radio. If it was $40-$45, maybe it's a good deal (?) or maybe if all you do is crawling it's a good radio. At $60, if you do anything else, there are better options at a similar price that have the same cost receivers or lower cost receivers.
